Thank you girls. Have now had my ultrasound, they did a normal one and a vaginal to make sure. But it's still measuring at 5w4d like my last scan two weeks ago (meant to be 9w3d).

I'll be following up with my GP on Friday but have been told to go back to the ED if I have excessive bleeding or bad pain in the meantime. I'm just starting to have a bit more bleeding now after just spotting all day. Am hoping things happen naturally though as I really don't want a D&C :(

What is best?

Totally up to you, but i preferred to let nature take its course. A D&C is pretty straight forward but i didn't really want to have an anesthetic and procedure done if it wasn't necessary. But it is a fairly simple procedure if you need to have one.
