PB, can you skip the D&C and have your baby? If you need it over as soon as you can maybe they could induce labour? Maybe have a little ceremony and bury him in the garden, maybe this will help your children grieve.

My cervix is very high, and very closed..... they said it may be a long long induction.... and I dont think I could emotionally do it.... they are worried bub passed around 3-4 weeks ago, and dont want to risk leaving it too long...

It actually gave us fasle hope on sat night.. I had small bleeding, no cramping, closed cervix...heartbeat couldn't be found, but was told thats normal, come back in the morning and we'll check again.. no bleeding overnight, was so excited to go back... only to find bub was gone, and had been for some time... I need it all over with, I'mknot keeping it together too well..... :cry:

PB - dealing with the little people is one of the harder parts of losing a baby :( My nephew still has memories of Caitlyn and he was only 4. If the D&C is what you need for you, then consider holding a memorial with the children. Get them to write down how they feel / a message for the baby, maybe draw a picture for the baby / how they feel for the younger ones. Get some balloons to release or a plant to grow (pot or in the ground). Encourage them to cry and express their feelings. Don't be afraid to show them yours. They need to know it is ok to feel sad.

They are blunt, they are direct. We could learn alot from them when it comes to loss. Cuddle them lots and know you have a whole group of people sending you their love and support as you negotiate the loss of your precious child :comfort:
