Waiting for AF after M&L #3

charlie - I'm still feeling sick :( I'm feeling a few symptoms that I had before I found out I was pg, but I'm not holding my breath, because I've checked my CM and it's a eggy white looking thing that doesn't stretch too far, maybe an inch or so (TMI sorry!) I make a note to check it every day, because I'm trying to get a good idea when I'll be O'ing and/or getting a visit from AF - I've not got cramps anymore. I've just felt like I'm going to be sick for the last week

Well she's not here yet but I am feeling really heavy and a little crampy this afternoon...maybe tomorrow!!!

Good luck Ellie.....we may have a bit of sun 2morrow so maybe AF will visit.....fingers crossed for you...

Me no sign yet.....got the cleaning bug the last 2 days.....getting my carpets cleaned 2morrow - Yippee.....maybe AF might come next week for me -

or here's betting the day I have my dr's appt (Thursday) she will come!! I am going to have a chat to him about AF and other stuff - I think that I may have mild depression so need to sort that too b4 TTC...

Liz, you never know you may be pg.....just give it another week or so then do a HPT....

mrsaym - I'm scared if I am though, I don't wanna be hurt like I was last time. My doctor said that after a m/c (every woman is different) that some women are the most fertile.. Here's hope :crossfingers:
I'm planning on taking a test after my DP is out of hospital - and that will be in a week or so.

Liz, I understand about being scared, but if we all kept the fear from making us do something we really want I know I wouldn't walk out my front door...

You are only young and have plenty of times to have a baby, but I am betting that if you are pg now this one will stick with no problems at all...:):)

I have been told to drink a Berrocca a day and also keep up with my pg tabs, don't know if this helps but when we start to TTC again I am going to give it a try.....

Nothing here.....but had egg white type CM yesterday....I hate my body atm, no idea what it's doing on and it is making me mental!

mrsaym - My doc told me to continue with the folic acid tab, so I have been, I've been drinking a fair amount of water now, which I'm proud of because I can't seem to get it down :P If I am pg now, I hope it does stick, because I'd love it to.
My DP is going in for the lapband surgery on Monday, so I might test myself while he's in surgery - and if it is a :bfp: at least he'll have some good news for when he gets out :)

As you can see from my ticker, AF is back with me again and this time I only had to wait 24 days. Not the 8 wk 4d wait of the previous cycle! Anyway, I'm hoping to leave her here with you guys!! If that's okay! Good luck everyone!!

HI everyone I am new here I have been reading you guys postings and now i actually decided to post too. After waiting for almost nine years to become pregnant again i m/c on June 22 at 19 weeks and to top it off i found out i was having what i really wanted a GIRL!! being that i already have a son. I want to start TTC but my AF has not arrived is this normal? I am soo desperate....Any pick me ups

Lanena, welcome to the thread. I'm so sorry you lost your precious bub, especially after nine years of trying to conceive. That is so sad. :( You will find plenty of support in this forum. :grouphug: My last loss was a missed m/c at nearly 12 weeks and it took just over two months from my D&C for AF to return. I don't think this is abnormal as others in this thread have had to wait a similar time. There are also a few in the pregnancy after miscarriage or loss who fell pregnant in the first cycle after their m/c. So it can happen! I found charting my temperatures again after my D&C and doing opks helped track down my ovulation and then a knew when AF was likely to arrive. I'd decided to wait one cycle before TTC again because I was waiting on blood test results. I wish you lots of luck with your TTC journey, Lanena. Thanks for the kind words kbowman i am just alittle bummed because my doctor adviced me to wait for at least one cycle before trying again but my af haven't arrived and the waiting is tortuous i had some symptoms the other day but nothing. I know i ovulated two weeks after m/c but i didn't want to try at that point i want to wait for a a least one cycle my doctor said it usually takes six weeks for af to come but this friday makes 5 weeks. soon i be going on vacation to jamaica i am hoping it doesn't come on that week i was hoping to start ttc during vacation LOL but i guess i just gonna have to sit back and wait like everyone else.

Ellie, wonderful news! I am so happy for you! I remember when AF returned for me, felt like I was walking on air. Good luck with your embies.

mrsaym - Do you think it would be too early to have a HPT on Monday? It'll be a month and one day after I m/c'ed, and we have been BDing since then. Especially since I've been getting all the symptoms, I thought it would be wise to get one

Liz, It wouldn't hurt to do a HPT on Monday, if it comes up neg tho, it may be just that it is too early, maybe wait til Friday if you can......

Lanena. sorry about you losing your little girl my thoughts are with you thru this sad time. Hope that AF is not too far away for you either.I had my D&C nearly six weeks ago and still waiting for AF...it is normal to take this long to come back - usually up to 8 weeks....

Went to my DR's today and had a chat with him. He says that I have depression so to get myself back in check I am on medication and not going to TTC until about Dec- Jan now.. :( .

I am getting the Implanon (implant) in my arm 2morrow so AF probably wont come at all.....probably for the best as we want to plan anyway, better than going on the pill and off again - then wait for my hormones to sort themselves out. This way with the implant when it is taken out you can fall pg straight away. He also said being that I am older this will be the best contraceptive for me...


kbowman - great with AF coming back so quick, I hope you get a BFP really soon....

Although AF might not come back now until my implant has been removed I will be following this link and keep posting as normal....
