Anyone else read this book? I'm just working through it now and it's AWESOME!
We're already on the GAPS diet which heals psychological conditions anyway but given that it is just food based and allowing the body to naturally heal over time I was kind of feeling impatient. I've been feeling really flat and I'm sick of it. I rarely seem to have much energy for conversations, making jokes, exercise, sex etc etc and I knew The Mood Cure outlined supplement protocols so I decided to get it and give it a read.
So after doing the quiz I'm now swotting up on my relevent chapters and learning what I need to do. I'm glad we're already on GAPS because it's definately a good foundation but I'm excited to give some of the supplements a go and focus on some of the food areas she mentions. Like, I didn't realise brassicas were bad for thyroid and I eat them every single day!
I think this book is much better laid out than the GAPS book and I love how she gives you very detailed plans for your supplements.
So anyone had sucess with The Mood Cure, or wanna join me on the journey?
