Threads with excessive graphic/disturbing content will be removed

As of now, threads that contain disturbing or graphic content will be removed or edited at the discretion of the Moderating Team. No one wants to read some of the threads that have been posted of late and even putting a warning in the title isn't enough at times. In situations like that, the threads will be removed without notice.

Please consider that there are parents on here who have lost children, or know of people who have lost children and even seeing the title is enough to cause distress. There may even be members who have been victims of such violence. As for threads with graphic violence or content, do you really think that a pregnancy and parenting community need to read this type of thing? Some people do choose not to read articles of that nature and for those that do, they can be found on all the popular news sites.

Anyone considering posting such articles should ask themselves is there really a need to share this and is there anything to be gained by doing so?

Just adding that if an article does raise issues that you want to discuss (for eg. sentencing laws, prisoner rehabilitation) that you can start a thread about the issue without posting the article. If you choose to include a link to the article in your post please be sure to warn people that it is graphic.
