Had a pretty good night here last night. Fed Ashton at 9pm and he woke at 1am for another feed. Well he was half awake so I got him up. I only woke cause the dog barked. Then from that feed he slept all the way till 7am this morning so that was a 6hr stretch. I had to physically wake him up even then to feed as he was still sound asleep and my boobs were bursting LOL. Been making sure he is feeding 3hrly today to make up for last night.

Wow Kathryn on the big sleep! Isn't it a pain when bubs wants to keep sleeping - and so do you - but the boobs won't let you forget they need emptying!
Yay Nic and Raven on the tooth cutting! Ella just got her sixth this week - damn those teething poos - definately doesn't help the m/s!
Raven - on the vegies topic Ella loved mashed sweet potato, carrot and pumpkin as they are a bit sweeter than most vegs...oh and corn too. I'd eventually alternate mouthfuls with other vegs and she got used to them. I found that she prefered vegies unmixed - eg was fussy when i mashed a whole heap of different ones together - perhaps the flavour was a bit too strange so i'd blend and freeze a stack of seperate vegs in little containers and give her two different ones - alternate mouthfuls - each night. Now she'll eat pretty much all of them - even stuff like olives, capsicum, zuchinni.... Good luck!

Ashton was meant to have got weighed today by the midwifes, but she rang this morning to say they were heaps busy so asked if he was feeding okay etc which he is, so now they aren't coming out till tomorrow. that is fine with me gives him and extra day to put on more weight :D
Have to go and tackle some housework now, specially the dishes LOL. then I will be back to check out the photos of pat.

Just wanted to let you all know the I finally got a webpage up for Willow.
I will be putting more pic's on tomorrow. If anyone can think of anything eles I should put on Willow's web page please let me know, as this is the first one I have ever done. Oh yeah thanks *Rae* for the tip, I finally got Willow to eat Vegies tonight only sweet potato but it's a start.

She's a cute Raven!! And i love the name Willow, but DH wouldnt let me have it as my son's named Xander and everyone already thinks i pinched that from Buffy lol...
LOL Simone.... We did get Willow's name from Buffy and DH son's name is Xander also from Buffy. How funny is that!!:cryinglaugh: :cryinglaugh:

Here I was thinking you might have liked V.C Andrews books Raven lol, cause in her collection there is a book called Raven and another called Willow lol. So thought that may have been where you got your username from.
Ashton had his weigh in. Midwife that did it was the actual midwife that delivered him so that was a bonus. Naked weight he was 2.700kg. so that is past his birth weight now and up 170g in 6 days.

I took Ella to her first swimming lesson today - we went with Fletch and Zane too so that was fun! It was great - Ella LOVES the water and has a lot of confidence. I'm really happy we got around to starting :D

Rae- glad to hear swimming went well & that Ella loves the water! Nixon has had 4 swim lessons so far and kicking more and more each time so i am sure you will see improvements each week!
Rae - thats sooo cool that Ella love swimming!! My boys love it too (they practically grew up on the beach in Perth) its the best activity for a hot day :)
Nic - i would leav it as a special "outing with daddy" shirt. Anneliese has one like that, 'cept hers is "I (heart) daddy" and on the back "daddy (hearts) me" DH loves it :)

Might be scare over the next few days. My Pc crashed and burned yesterday but thankfully the harddrive still seems to be okay. So have to use a half working laptop grrr which is bloody annoying.
Ashton is going along well. Might pop into a chemist sometime over the weekend when we are out and about and get him weighed. He is waking up twice a night to feed but isn't taking much at each feed, so not sure if that is a sign that he might be wanting to drop 1 feed. Although it is him waking up and crying cause he is hungry LOL.
Could be too cause last night before going to bed he had his first 45 min feed which was just about continous, so he was probably still half full ;)
Nic - Kirsty has done the intro post for this forum, and ran it by us mods, so it should be up later tonight when she gets home from work.

went to the shops today & went into baby change, while in there a lady came in to change her baby girl. she was 5 weeks old, oh so small & cute! Last week i saw my friends twin girls & they were so small & cute.
I kinda feel guilty (for Nixon's sake) for feeling like i want to have another bub. i know dh doesnt want another yet, he has enough trouble handling one (not that he has to do much compared to me!) and i know it would be hard work having 2 close together but then again they'd be really good friends in a few yrs time (id hope lol!)
i might set myself a challenge to try really hard to loose 5kg first b4 TTC no#2
Nic, i love having my kids close together, and although its hard work, it so great that the boys are friends, and they LOVE their little sister to bits... they are so protective and proud of her

Sorry i have been MIA for a while but we have been busy..
Well Ronan is growing up so fast! He is now 7.5mths (4.5mths corrected) and doing so well.. He is flying through his milestones, his weight is around 7.3kgs, still sleeping 10hrs a night, has been on solids for a few weeks now and is doing really well.. :D Ronan and I are going to Sydney on the 18th for 10 days and it will be the first time my family get to meet him (besides my parents and sister).. I haven't been back to Sydney since we moved to VIC almost 2yrs ago so i get to see my grandparents and everyone else, so i am very excited..
I will do personals later but i hope all your bubs are doing really well.. :D
Hey girls, i have great news... DR seems to think Anneliese MAY have grown out of her apnoea... she hasnt had an episode for about 2 months now... She'll still be sleeping with her monitor for a while yet, but i can finally sleep at night!!
Hey Racs good to see you back in here. Oh awesome i bet you guys have great fun in Sydney & all your family who have not met Ronan yet are going to smother him (in a good way!) you'll kinda get a break cause everyone will be fussing over him! we r prob going to sydney on the 17th for an engagement party Then flying from syd to brissy on the 19th (dh has to work up there for a week so we're gonna holiday!) prob stay a few days at Caloundra, we have friends up there who havent met Nixon yet so looking forward to catching up with them.

wow i cant beleive he has had his first hair cut! Nixon still doesnt have much hair there is nothing to cut! he looks so cute with the spikey hair!!
LOL at always using bonjela & panadol! i have 3 tubes on bonjela, one in his bedroom, one in kitchen & one in his travel bag. Nixons two teeth cut through about a week ago & he has been getting me up 4-5 times a night which is becoming very frustrating!! ( i got nice & used to him sleeping through since he was 2months old)

Pat seems to be teething but atm he is just chewing on everything!My cousin is coming up tomorrow with her son and father, she is due to have her 2nd child on Christmas Eve and she already reckons she is as big as a house.We keep teasing her that she is having twins but she assures us she isn't.
Ahh cool Jess, I hadnt seen any pics of Pat since he was still very young, he is looking really well! So are all of your kids actually, well done!

Wow, all the babies are growing up so fast. They all look so cute! OMG at Ronan! I can't believe how far that little guy has come, Racs!
Everything is all systems go for Ivy and Noah's party this weekend ( just praying like mad that the rain stops).
Ivy and Noah have been unwell for the last couple of weeks but I think we are in the clear atm.
ECHN is coming over on Thursday for our last home visit. I think young Noah may just break her scales, he is a very healthy young boy!!
I am going to miss her visits, she was absolutely lovely and we have watched these bubbas grow up together.

It sounds like you are all travelling along nicely as well. We have Child & Youth health coming out tomorrow to check up on Ashton. Our appointment is at 9.30am so I have to race home from dropping Kameron off at Kindy. Pretty sure he will get weighed so will be good to see what he has put on as it will have been 11 days since he was last weighed. I am supposed to take him to the nurse at the doctor once a week, but that is just too hard when I don't have a car at home by day.

It was actually 8 days since Ashton was last weighed....anyway
Ashton had his child and youth health check up. He put on 130g in 8 days so now weighs in at a hefty.....lol...... 2.83kg. So finishing off this bag of disposables I have and then putting him into cloth nappies YAY.

Took Willow to her Doctor on Thursday. He is very happy with her, he couldn't believe how big she is now. I'm really happy to say she is a healthy 9kgs now, alot better from the
1820g she was when she was born!!! :confetti:
I don't have to take her back to see him untill Jan 07 now so he must be really happy with the way she coming along.
