Ok so my beautiful princess was taken due to SIDS. So im here advising all the recent knowledge i have now learned.
Well SIDS actually recommends that you stop wrapping baby as soon as they wriggle ther little bodies around. And only ever use muslin or breathable wraps, no blanket wraps.
Now as for sheets, grobags all the way girls!!! I will be getting grobags and the egg this time, and only use a bottom fitted sheet :( plus a new mattress for my cradle, and many other items ive now come across.
Lilli didn't have any blankets or sheets on her when she passed, but i did use them :( I have now meet mums that there precious baby's have passed because they got tangled in their sheets, yes it really does happen. The tog rated sleeping bags are the best, as it doesn't let baby get to overheated, as this is one of the things that can cause SIDS. If you do happen to purchace a grobag brand, a % goes back to SIDS for research. I will be buying all levels, with at least 2 each of them. I will buy a few brand new, but also pick a couple up on ebay.
Lilli's case is going to the coroners court, as they wish to use her case to push SIDS education.

Well done and thanks for sharing your thoughts Rach. You've made a few very important points - at the end of the day, your baby's health is most important so consider all SIDS risks when purchasing linen for your precious bundle.
This is also the reason why Grobags are a bit pricey - they aren't just a sleeping bag, a lot of research has gone into developing the safest sleeping bag possible for our babies. I'm so in love with the Eggs too - genius :clap:
