Hi Pash. Sorry, totally forgot to come back and reply! The capsule I was talking about it the actual carseat (Maxi Cosi in my case) which can connect to the Select so you don't have to wake bubs if they nod off in the car  They sell the bassinet for the Select which I would get as well.
I had a good play with the seats and capsule attached at a baby shop but I didn't bother much with the reclining as my DD doesn't sleep in the pram, she never has much at all TBH! So being able to recline my DD while the capsule is attached isn't a big deal for me at all. There are certainly some seating positions where the seats don't recline as much or really at all (like if the two toddler seats are back to back). You'd be best to go to a baby shop and have a good play with the Select as seating positions would be quite a personal preference, I'd say, depending on your kids. Like I said, my DD isn't one to sleep in the pram so she'll be happy in any position as she is happy upright.
With regards to bus travel, it's not really designed for that but you could definitely do it. You would need help lifting the pram though (unless it's a wheel chair accessible bus). It weighs 15kg with the two seats attached then you need to add on the weight of your kids. It's a good all-rounder pram for shopping, general outings and exercising though. It's a brilliant design but it's not going to suit everyone. I've come to the conclusion that the 'perfect pram' really just doesn't exist as parents all have such different needs to meet.
Good luck with your decision!
MOT - so glad you're happy with your purchase hon! I actually love my current pram and it's the only one I've bought despite my pram obsession, lol! It's a Baby Jogger City Elite so I started out with one of the best IMO ;) The only thing I wish I could change about it (which is why I'm going to get the Select) is I can't use the capsule and the toddler seat at the same time. I could use a buggy board for DD but given she's a little explorer, there is no way on earth she'd stay put. I definitely need two secure seats for two kids  My Elite is amazing though, love it. Baby Jogger sure do make an amazing pram.
