We got one for Brendan when he was 23 months old and havent looked back.
He knows it's his bed and loves it. We also love the freedom that comes with it, Brendan's sleeping pattern is irregular (due to sensory issues and hyperactivity) and he can wake all through the night or not at all. Having the toddler bed means he comes to us, rather than one of us having to get up :lol: so lazy of us :lol:
I never liked them till I decided to get one for Ds3. I highly recommend it. Jacob stayed in his for well over a year. I think it was around his 3rd birthday we moved him to a big bed
DD wil go in it in a few months. We got ours from Toys R us for $80 I think. Its a winnie the pooh one. only issue with it is that we needed a inner spring mattress but you could put a bit of wood in there as a base and use a normal cot mattress
We put ds into one about 2 months ago. He went straight in without a problem- but we did it at the same time he dropped a day sleep, so by the time he got to bed he was really tired and didn't care where he slept ;)
