Hehe I never thought about it either - only once it's dirty really. I love my trolley cover - it personalises the shopping experience and it makes me feel better that DS is comfy and clean (apart from all the biscuit he smears all over his face!!)

Ooh, it's here.. YAY. It's so cute! Can't wait to use it.
Nic
I had a clean shopper for Zander, but wish I had seen trolley monsters before I got it, cos they are so cool, thinking of replacing ours with a trolley monster for Juliette. Anyway to the question at hand, I washed it when it got dirty, maybe every 4-5 uses.
I bought a pink clean shopper for DD (thought it was red when I bought it) & it stayed in its box... not once used. I recently found it & thought, great, its still new, I'll use it for DS, pulled it out & its hot PINK with polka dots!! Would have been awesome for DD but now it looks like poor DS will be mistaken for a girl everytime we shop once I start using it (hes not sitting up yet)
Poor little guy!
We have a Clean Shopper. We only really wash it when it gets grubby.
OMG the trolley monster is so cool. Much better than the cheapie one I got from spotlight. I thought mine was good until I saw them. So jealous now Nic!!
I don't have one but really want to get one. They are a bit expensive on my budget though and DH thinks it's a stupid idea (typical). I just get my hand sanitiser out and wipe her hands after being in the trolley.
I need one. I don't have one. Where can I get one? Any chance online also?
those in brisbane, qld...there is an awesome lady who sells them on ebay. i got mine from there and so did my other friend. they are great and only $35. i have a pink one with butterflies. i originally didn't have one for a few months but DD loves it now so i am glad i got it, she can rest toys/food on the top of it and it's quite padded so really comfy for her ;)
i need to wash mine, haven't yet and she has used it about 10 times!
Yes- I have one. They are great- more for comfort than anything. I'm not that concerned about the germ factor- there are germs in the air, and it is the exposure to these things which build their immune system anyways...
So far I have used it 3 times and it is yet to be washed. Great for holding things like water bottles etc next to them too.
yes i too am not concerned about germ factor either! they need germs
Oh yeah, I know about exposure to germs and it helping them build up their immune system, but I got mine more for... the comfort of sitting in something nice and soft and decorated/amusing, while shopping, instead of a HOT trolley because the fresh food people are too busy talking to retrieve trolleys or becuase it's too hot outside for them too lol.
But then in all honesty...germs do scare me quite a bit..especially since my brother got a nice little germ that than caused a nice little cold along with the blocked up nose which then put pressure on an optic nerve and now he is legally blind!
I figure DS will still get enough germs from the floor and his toys and when school starts back in a couple of weeks :)
I always used a blanket in the trolley before I got my cover.. I know kids need to be exposed to germs and if you take one look inside my house they get plenty  but seriously though apart from germs it is more comfortable.
I got mine from ebay.. $40 (including postage) Mine is a pink camo one..

So can a Clean Shopper be used in the capsule? They are the only brand (Trolley Snug/Trolley Mate/Trolley Monster) that has a design I like, *sigh* ;)
I don't think a Clean Shopper would fit too well in a capsule. You may be able to make it fit around it, but you probably wouldn't be able to slot the straps through. I used to just use a baby blanket inside the capsule.
Nah the clean shopper doesn't really work on the capsule, I tried it a few ways & couldn't get it to work. I was thinking of getting a capsule one, but decided seeing as they are in the capsule trolley for such a short period of time I would just cover it with a blanket. Juliette at 8 months went into a normal trolley just the other day for the first time & will be in one when we go shopping until she's at least two & walking confidentally.
BTW I just found "No More Nasties" and they look just like Trolley Monsters, but cheaper. Thinking thinking.... Our Clean Shopper is getting a bit shabby.
