It really depends on your 18 month old. Do they sleep in the pram? Will you be out for long periods? If its just short occasional trips I'd just get a buggy board with or without seat and have a carrier stowed in the pram if they need to have a sleep and you can put either bub or toddler on you. It's only been now at almost 3 that DD can cope with just a buggy board. Ipa

Thanks everyone so much for the info... I'm definitely leaning more towards ill need a double pram... Dd2 is almost 15 months and she is hard to control if we put her down (at school pick up etc) she doesn't want to hold my hand and just wants to explore ... She is such a cheeky lil monkey ;)... So I can't see much changing ....
I know my oldest daughter wasn't in a pram at 3 year old... I can't for the life of me think when we stopped using a pram with her ... Though I know every baby is different
With DD2 we bought a strider plus and it came with a free second seat but I sold it after a couple of months because I hated it ... Lost a fair bit of money on it but bought a city mini... If only we had known we'd have another baby so close together I would have bought a city select
Anyway thanks again everyone :-)... Will have to drag DH to the baby shop in the next few weeks
