hoping it's a true BFP for you! xx
I think it's pretty safe to say you're pregnant! Congratulations :D
I got a BFP at home when pg with DS2, but nothing showed up immediately on the GP one. He wrote me a referal for a BT, but as we walked out I asked to see the test again and a faint line had shown up so he cancelled the BT and congratulated me LOL! The GP ones are definitely not as sensitive.
Leesa I too think u are def pg as the others have said the drs tests are not as sensitive. Yay for the pathology helping out with the form ;)
I did about 12 HPT when I got my positive then I waited a week to go to the DR and the Dr's test was negative. He sent me for bloods and I was infact pregnant.
When I went back for my checkup at 8 weeks he said that the tests they had were faulty as several other women that week were pregnant and not tested positive.
Maybe thats what it was...but I remember waiting for those test results
I think you def have a BFP :)
My Dr's have never bothered with their tests and just taken the one's that I had done at home were enough, much more accurate :D
Lucky you got to change the BT form :D
Argh, I am still waiting for the results - 9am tomorrow morning!!!
But yeah, I think I'm UTD ;-)
Beema - I think this Dr isn't really 'into' the whole pregnancy thing. He's been good with the kids and their illnesses, but he doesn't really seem attentive like my fave 'Dr Jane'...I need some GP recommendations! Preferably bulk billing ones, but if not, no matter ;-)
I can give you the details of a really good GP they do bulk bill sometimes depends on the Dr but not for adults, also let you know which Dr's there are the one's we have been really happy with :D
yes, im stalking! how did your test go leesa?
We got a BT BFP ladies :-)
I didn't find out the exact reading but I'm about 2 -3 weeks pregnant (the earliest I've ever found out i'm PG (DD was 10 wks, DS was 5 wks) so this one will take aaaaages for the 40 wks to be up!!), so due mid April. I can't even find a Belly Buddies Group for that gestation bahahahaha!
Dr wrote up new forms for another BT which I will collect tomorrow, and said to get the BT next week just to make sure the levels are still rising as its so early on (or rather, I've picked it up so early lol).
Yay, congratulations!!! :confetti:
Wooo Hooooo :) Wonderful news hun!!
:happyforyou:
Congratulations!! :D
That's great news! I think when your doc said 2 - 3 weeks pregnant they must have meant 2 - 3 weeks post conception, which makes you around 5 weeks pregnant. Not that it makes a huge deal of difference but it's always good to know :D
I was wondering that myself actually Traveller. How does that work though?
If we DTD 2-3 wks ago, that'd be the conception date - wouldn't it? And you'd count forward from there? How do the weeks prior to conception count exactly? (Trust me, I prefer the sound of 5 wks lol, this belly of mine that I'd just gotten back to flat is popping already - and my weight hasn't changed!).
Leesa, I've been following your thread. :happyforyou: the results came back positive.
I'm  I can join the April BellyBuddy group with you for a little Aries baby.
All the best for a happy and healthy pregnancy.
Join me CBG!!!! Praying for ya hun!!!! Sending vibes your way :-)
I'm stoked about this extra two weeks - it means there is a slight chance bubs could be born on my Mums birthday! What are the chances eh? Even if its near the date I'm stoked :-D
What a wonderful birthday present for your Mum. I wonder if she has had a part in bringing you your little miracle?
I've thought about the due date too Leesa, IF I'm fortunate enough baby would be born between DP and mine birthday. After 14 cycles you'd think it'd happen already.
