    Forelife OPK Query

Hi ladies, I've just started using OPKs to see if I ovulate this cycle as I had an early miscarriage 2 weeks ago (was about 4 weeks). I know there's a good chance I won't O this cycle, but with Xmas parties & travel I just want to know what's happening.

I've got 2 queries, firstly do you consider how dark the line is after 5 mins? I know it says to only wait for your results at 5 mins not after, and if that's the case then my photo is irrelevant.

Secondly, I found Forelife so faint, both control & test lines, that its hard to tell.

Would love to hear others experience with this brand?

do you have another one to do tomorrow?
I haven't used that brand, but I can say that mine have reliably kept the same darkness from 5 mins to 3 years!
So I think your photo is valid. but you're right, its hard to tell. I say todays looks darkest... not sure if its dark enough to be positive yet.
you can pull them apart to just look at the strips inside, sometimes easier without the reflective plastic.

fertility friend has opk galleries, but they don't seem to have forelife.

hi hun, december 1st 12pm & december 2nd look the darkest, wouldn't say it's 100% a positive yet. they say it's only a positive when both lines are the exact darkness or darker. so for example your test on 1st december 8.45PM is negative.

all my OPKs i buy off of ebay, they're just the tiny strips, i find them much better to read than ones in covers. you can buy 10-100 OPKs on ebay for so so cheap!

Hi, I wanted to send an update in case someone else is having similar or curious about my OPK results.

I found out yesterday that my levels had risen (was expecting them to be around 0), so went back in for another scan this morning which revealed a mass on my left tube. So it ended up being an ectopic (around 7-8 wks) & therefore my Opks are completely irrelevant...! This has certainly been the most non-textbook experience, which i know is the case for many. I had my tube removed & came home after the keyhole surgery today. Feeling so lucky to have such an excellent hospital (RPA Sydney Australia) as my local, where this whole ordeal hasn't cost a cent & it's been first class care all the way.
