Sorry just a quickie from me; had ob appt today, all good with bub - in position, now its a matter of labour starting. OB has booked my c/s for after 40 weeks just in case, as the hossy is pretty much booked out for the next 3 weeks so they gave me the only free elective c/s spot.

Off to have accupuncture etc early next week in the hope of inducing labour before c/s date!!!

Can you get the acupuncture happening now??? Alternatively, go for a reflexology massage of the feet. A really good pedicure from someone who knows the stimulation points is also an option (and you get your toes / feet done too ;))

Thanks Michelle - Ive just booked for a foot massage with the master asian reflexology man at my local shopping centre for Monday while Miss A is at child care!

My accupuncture is booked for Tuesday next week, and im having an intense "inducing" session with my healer on Tuesday - she is making me go walking up a hill backwards among other things. Ive also upped the dose of EPO and now im having lots of discharge but dont know if its from the EPO!! Im doing deep breathing from the pelvic floor which is meant to rock the pelvis and induce labour, so i think i have a good shot of going into labour before C-Day!!!

Period type pain is constant and BH's are definately more noticeable.

Hope everyone else is well - off to clear out the laundry! Dh has just done the backyard, me thinks he is nesting more than I am :D

Lisa maybe it is time to start DTD too!!! Have you got a PIG? All that pelvic movement is excellent. Do you have a fit ball? It is a good idea to get on one of these and just roll your hips. I find visualization of bub moving down and my cervix thinning and opening good too.

I gotta say though...to me the thought of anyone expecting a baby to arrive at 38 weeks is nuts! :lol: DD was 10 days late, DS1 11 days and DS2...well I will never know for sure but I suspect he was about 2 weeks late.

Ahhhhhh, Willow, I remember with little D how desparate you were becoming to get him out!!!! So tough the waiting game at the end! To me the thought of someone having a tiny baby is odd - I squeezed out a near 9 pounder 4 weeks early :o thank god little man Flynn didn't go overdue!!

Lisa - sounds like things are definately ripening up for you - keep us well informed !!!!!

Sorry no time for more personals.. DS wants an apple and won't give up until he gets it!! LOL. The TT'ing is still going ok.. every time I think we should give up for a while, he surprises me with a whole day of telling me that he needs to go!!! WTF?? So crazy. I'm not as worried about it anymore and am just letting him dictate it a bit more. So far so good though, appart from a little wee in KMart.... oopss.. he was very good about it though and thankfully I had Mum to help!!! Definitely won't be braving undies at the shops again!! LOL. Oh the joys hey!!

Having a great time with Mum here... we're off to the zoo today (yep... the good old zoo again, I just love it there)!! Then tomorrow we're heading off to the Puffing Billy railway.. they have a Thomas the Tank Engine day on, so that should be fun!!

Expecting AF to arrive next week too.. we'll see how long I can hold off testing for!! Don't like my chances but I'm trying to remain a little hopeful!

Better go get this damn apple!!

Sorry it is so long since I have posted. I have been reading but just finding it very hard to get the time to post and I usually have a little bub in my arms which makes it difficult to type! We are doing really well, Josh even slept til 5.30am the other day! DD has been sleeping through the night too, so I am a very happy mummy! We have been pretty busy lately with lots on - the Playschool concert last week and lots of catch ups etc. Josh had his needles yest and screamed the place down. He sucked his breath in for so long that he went bright bright red and just when I was worried that he had stopped breathing he let out the biggest scream I have ever heard! he got over it pretty quick though, poor little guy. I have to say, as hard as it is at times, I am loving being a mummy at the moment. I love watching my little angels grow and learn and they bring me so much joy. Of course this could all change in a second if DD decides to throw another of her monster tanties!!

mako - are you ok love? Was your appointment with Dr S yest or is it next Thurs?

janie - I saw on fb that Daniel has to have an op. Hope all is ok hun :hug:

jayne - I know it was a while back but I have to say I had a big laugh at your description of your ovaries as being icey cold and under lock and key!! Love the pics of your little girl's first haircut, cute!!

Thanks for all your tips ladies - I just really hope labour starts in the next 7 days. OB was happy not to book a date for c/s til 41+weeks but problem with the hospital is if I didnt take the last available booking for the week after next it would have meant Id be going into 43wk territory. All this because they wont induce me!! Well then its a job for me, have to entice this little bugger out..one way or another!!

I'm going to break some news but want you all to know that I'm wanting to be very sensitive to Kelly and anyone else who may also be so desperate to be pregnant again.

I'm pregnant and need lots of support right now. I had my appt with Dr S on Thursday and he did a scan which showed bub was measuring a few days earlier than I expected but hopefully that is because my cycle is a tad irregular but bubs heart beat was stopping and starting. He said everything else looked ok but wants another scan in 10 days time so I've organised that but he then went on to tell me all the details I really didn't want to ever hear again about what he wants me to do incase of another m/c ie D&C, genetic testing,more blood tests including the NK Cells as my result from the 1st one wouldn't be accurate as I was already pregnant at the time. So at this stage I'm 6w3d and on a huge concoction of medicating including tablets and pessaries and trying to rest as much as I possibly can to give this little bub the best chance ever. I had beta hcg's done every 2nd day for both Dr S and my Ob and the levels rose as they should have but didn't have any b/t's for about a week and a half so I went and had another 1 yesterday to see what's happening with that. I'm trying my best to stay positive but have to admit I'm feeling fragile too so I've decided to join Michelle in the land of De Nile ;)

So for anyone who knows me and DH IRL PLEASE keep this all to YOURSELF and please don't post anything on FB or talk to anyone else about it for that matter :shhh: DH and I would like our privacy respected during this time but at the same time I need the support of my wonderful friends in here ;) I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but I'm sure most of you can understand where I'm coming from with this.

I'm sorry for the selfish post and I may end up deleting this at any stage :rolleyes:
