Michelle - Congratulations hun.. I can't imagine what you're going through right now but hope you're hanging in there and I hope that you know just how much we all care about you! Little George certainly is one very precious little baby who has the most amazing Mummy!
Bek - It makes me feel so sad that you're so lonely... massive hugs.
Mako - How are you today? Has the pain eased? Do you know what it is yet? I hope everything is ok hun.
Laney - I'm glad things are sounding a little better for you... what a scare. Praying all will be ok.
Janie - Woo Hoo little D.. what a champ! How's N going today with the TTing.. have been thinking of you!! Was great to chat the other day... you'll never guess though... after all that talk about how great Luke is doing with the TTing and how we haven't had a night time accident yet... well that very next morning, I was woken by tears from Luke yelling out "Mummy... I've done wees in my bed"!!!!!! It's always the way!! LOL.
Jayne - I'm thinking of you too hun... hope you're doing ok.
Bun - Hope you're hanging in there too and wish we were closer... I could use some company right now too!!!
Sorry, not really thinking straight atm.. have so much going through my head right now and feeling quite 'down'. Took the MIL to the airport this morning and I always get this way when someone leaves... even though I couldn't of lasted much longer with her here - LOL. It's so weird. Also had an absolutely terrible time with Luke the other night. He's going through a really bad stage atm... he's just so horrible at times.. yells and screams at us for no reason and just generally seems to go out of his way to make life difficult. I don't get it... and feel like a bit of a failure sometimes. We were trying to go out to dinner with the MIL before she left and Luke was acting up like usual but in a really bad way.. just talking really nasty and hitting us (like usual)... well I think I had a bit of a moment and just totally snapped. I'm so embarrassed to even admit it... but it was in front of DH and MIL... so didn't go down well. DH actually screamed at me to get away from Luke... as if I was going to hurt him or something... wtf? I would NEVER hurt my child. I was absolutely devistated that he would think that... I just got a bit angry but would never hurt him. Anyway I took myself into our bedroom and just laid there crying for a while... then DH finally came up and we talked it out. Needless to say, we didn't get to dinner. I'm over it now.. but it still bothers me a bit iykwim? Sorry to dump this... especially now when Michelle needs all of our support but I just needed to get it out. I'm just feeling a bit down and it helps to have a bit of an outlet. I miss my Mum so much and have been getting a bit lonely again. I don't expect a response... we need to focus on the bigger picture... which is the very beautiful Michelle and George.

Congrats Michelle hun, wow, I really wasn't expecting to pop in and hear that news! I am so glad your beautiful boy George has made it safely earthside. I am praying that he stays strong and will soon be by your side. And rest up hun, you must be totally exhausted after all that you have been through. Thinking of you and sending you all my strength hun. I wish I could do or say more... always thinking of you xx
jayne - I am worried about you hun. How are things going?
Janie - I hate being on my own so much, especially when the kids aren't sleeping well. Counting down til DH gets back... Glad to hear that D has found a bit of a routine, I hope he keeps it up! Don't feel bad about N being the 'experimental child', I think all first children are! DD had bad reflux and it took over 5 months for me to get it sorted out. Before then she just screamed ALL the time. Now of course I know that there was something wrong, but at the time I just thought that is what babies are like.
Freya - how are you doing hun?
mako - how are you feeling today?
Bek - so sorry you are feeling lonely hun. I think it's such irony that a SAHM is never alone, yet it can feel like the loneliest job in the world! We are all here and we understand. Pop in if you ever feel the need, but we also understand how hard it can be to get the time. How are the plans going for Eva's birthday party?
kelly - you sound just like me a couple of weeks ago! My meltdown at DD happened in public (at the library) and it was soooo embarrassing, but sometimes they just push us so far that we snap. We are only human, and no one has endless patience! I know it is hard not to feel mad at yourself for getting angry, but it is only natural. Of course you would never hurt your child. DH did a similar thing to me when DD was little and I was at the end of my tether having had no sleep for so long, and he took DD off me like I was going to hurt her as she had been crying for hours. Sometimes I don't think they understand how hard being a SAHM is and how worn down your patience can get. Hugs hun, I know just how you are feeling right now. I wish I was closer too - I would definitely up to for a catch up!
laney - what a scare! It sounds like everything will be ok, but I guess now you can't help worrying and the waiting is a killer. I hope time passes quickly. Good to hear that bubs is a good size and moving lots though.
We had another bad night. Even though DS is now on solids, he is also wanting three hourly feeds at night! And DD is still waking during the night too. I took them both to creche today so I could go to the gym - what an ordeal!! Getting two kids to creche, on time and settling them before my class started - gees, not sure I am up for that again. We are off to the kids festival again tomorrow. I swear it will be the end of me, but DD had such a good time there the other day that I feel like I have to take her again. And at least it is something to do rather than being home alone. I am still feeling a bit down for no reason, I think it is all just getting on top of me. And it really hurts that although my parents know I am on my own, they never contact me. They wouldn't come over and stay while DH is away as my sis is going through a break up and they didn't want to leave her, which is fair enough I suppose. But just a phone call to see how I am doing would be nice, and I don't feel too much to ask?? They never contact me - it is always me contacting them. I am thinking of starting an experiment - to see how long it would take for them to contact me if I don't contact them. When I do talk to them they are only interested in the kids anyway. I know I sound pathetic, but right now I reckon if it wasn't for DH phoning every day, no one would even know if something happened to me. Sometimes it is nice to feel loved I suppose! Ok, vent over now...
Hi everyone else, hope you are all doing well xx

hello my lovelies... I am so delighted that George has arrived earthside.. Michelle hun you have done an amazing job in carrying Georgie boy and birthing him into this world. Hope your holding each other tight and you both have a speedy recovery. Thinking of you and sending you love and light xx

Any news on Michelle and George?
Kelly - Hugs. I have been there done that a few times before. I call them mummy meltdowns and I always seem to have them in front of my DH. To make matters worse you know you've been silly and irrational and they like to rub salt into the wounds (unintentionally most times). Loren has been a really explosive toddler and she did start to hit quite a bit. I read the No cry discipline solution and found some really helpful tips, that helped me stay in control and Loren too.
Bun - hugs too. Talk to your parents and tell them how you feel. You are doing really well
-
Lots of love to our dear Michelle, and her beautiful children
Ack, I'm sick, so I'm bowing out now, but will BBL.
-
Oh no Janie, that's all you need. Rest up chook. xx
-
Hi girls - have we any more news of Michelle today? And how babe George is going. Just wanting to know they are okay - Deb, have you spoken to Michelle today? Please send her all our love, can't stop thinking how tough it must be for her right now in particular, without her man....
Not much to report with me ladies - but it must be a week for mummy meltdowns, had one myself lastnight, just one of those over it all things..... tomorrow is a new day.

Hi Lee,
I spoke to Michelle earlier today. I didn't want to call & disturb her if she were sleeping but I remember her telling us when Greg had passed that she appreciated actually speaking to 'somebody' so I gave her a quick call. I just wanted her to know that I was thinking of her and that if she needed anything at all I'd happily get my backside on a plane. LOL.
-
I also gave Michelle a quick phone call earlier tonight. Please keep her and sweet little George in your thoughts and prayers.
Janie I hope you're feeling better soon hun.
I'm ok. Pain seems to have eased a bit so am hopeful its nothing serious. I'm on 2 weeks holidays as of tomorrow lunchtime and I can tell you it hasn't come quick enough.
DH and I are planning on taking Sage to see Toy Story on Sunday. The movies are showing it in regular screen as well as 3D. I 1st thought it was only in 3D and was a bit disappointed that Sage wouldn't be able to see it at the movies. He's a huge Woody and Buzz fan atm lol.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Sorry for the lack of personals tonight too. Will try and catch up a bit more over the next few days.
-
michelle, you and George have been in my thoughts.
mako, I have horrible pain when I ovulate. I have issues with cysts as well and they can be very painful. I am glad that you are starting to feel better. Have a great holiday!
Bun, I know how hard it can be to ask for help. You should really let them know how you are feeling. My mom and I had the same issue for a while. Come to find out, she was worried that she would be bothering me. She didn't want to interrupt nap time or feeding time. Sometimes you need to let tham know that you need some interruptions.
kelly, It is tough being pregnant and caring for an active little one. It makes it even harder when you don't have family close by to help you on those tough days. You are not perfect, only human, and there are most likely going to be many more moments when you lose you patients. You are still a good mom.
AFM, I am taking a trip home to New york for the long weekend. I haven't been home in a while and I don't see too many trips in the near future. It is a 5 hour drive and I am not going to be doing that with 2 little ones or with a huge pregnant belly. I can't wait to see my family and friends. I feel really alone being so far away.
I think I am starting to relax a bit about the ultrasound results. My doctor really did try to tell me that it is most likely nothing and to not worry about it. Easier said than done. I guess soft markers are something to look at more closely if your blood work comes back positive.

Yes, I've spoken to Michelle today & it's been a very big day today. SEE HERE
George has improved so our prayers are helping - so let's keep at it. Quan Yin hasn't been let burn out since George's birth (actually since before!). I am sending REiki as are so many people here & importantly I am just loving her from afar. Crying, laughing, thinking, being and having faith that all will be just fine - but clearly the journey is a difficult one.
If you read this gorgeous - you are LOVED!
AFM I am really crap. Things have gone to pot again and tonight I have the migraine from hell. Just been for voimit number 3 & am ready to sleep. I will come back tomorrow when I have brain function.
-
Thank you so much for the update Deb. I've been beside myself with worry and I know how much each and every one of us care for Michelle and the kids. George is a fighter, he must take after his amazing mum.
Now as for you please try to get some rest :comfort: I've spoken to you so many times over the last few days and I'm sorry I haven't asked about you. Will call you tomorrow.
-
I am okay Spring. When everyone is healthy, we have a roof over our heads and food on our tables we are blessed.
Right now we are all barracking for our gorgeous friend & then we will all be able to heave a massive sigh of relief the day that they both walk through their door at home.
You know - this brings it all "homne" doesn't it? Just how amazing Women are - how we all rely on each other so much for comfort and support. Also just how little it takes to be happy. Health, friends, family, a home to live in and food on our plates.
We are all here Michelle helping you through this - we truly are. :grouphug:
-
Deb, you are exactly right. At the end of the day all the superfluous stuff in life means diddily squat. The universe has a magical way Of giving us a reality check every now.
Thanks to each and everyone of you for being so special to me.
:grouphug:

DEB - How's the migraine today? I can't wait to hear the next installment on FOTY - but only if you're ready to share. xx
LANEY _ Oh wow, I wish I was coming along to New York for the weekend! How exciting!!! You must tell us all about it. I'm glad your OB has told you to try put the 'worry' to bed for now. I hope you have a great weekend with the family.
MAKO - How are you???
BUN _ I think you need to tell your mum how you're feeling. YOu were just telling me a few months back how much your mum dotes on the kids. I'm sure she just doesn't want to interrupt. Exactly as Laney said. Esp as you are going through a rough patch atm.
Fighting girls, BBL.
Love Jayne

Been thinking of you Jayne. Hope things are somewhat easier today
-
Deb - Hope your migraine is a bit better today!
Jayne - Have been thinking of you a lot lately too.. really need to pick up that phone and give you a call.. I promise I'll get around to that soon... I just have drama's calling from my mobile in our house (the reception is terrible) and I can't call mobiles from our VOIP phone.. really need to sort that out too)!! Anyway I'm thinking of you heaps and hope you're doing ok hun.
Janie - How are you feeling this morning?
Laney - Enjoy NYC.. sooo jealous, I'd LOVE to visit one day!!!
Mako - Glad the pain has eased a bit.. hugs. We took Luke to see Toy Story 3 the other day... he absolutely LOVED it.. we're a bit Toy Story crazy in this house too!! LOL. We also went to see the 'normal' version as I can't imagine Luke would sit there with the glasses on and some of it's scary enough for such little ones!!! Enjoy. I almost cried near the end and think I enjoyed it as much as Luke did!!! LOL.
Bun - I agree... talk to you parents.. sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and be upfront!! Good luck hun.. I know how you feel.. we've been a bit lonely here again lately too and DH has A LOT of little trips booked in the next few weeks. Not looking forward to it.

Still a headache but not a migraine. I've updated Michelle's prayers thread I need to not look at the screen too much right now due to my head. So have a look - sorry I didn't link you all. :grouphug:
