Lovely moments of joy everyone. I love them all!
Mine for today...
1: hot cross bun, fresh from the oven with lashings of butter.
2: taking DD for her two yo check up and being told by the MCHN that she is a "delight of a child".
Watching DS and the joy he takes when the dishwasher finishes. He drags a chair over to the drawers, fetches the cutlery holder out of the dishwasher and takes great care in putting the cutlery (minus the sharps don't worry) in the right places all up the same way. He plays with the spoons here and there but replaces them all the right way.

My joy today... Getting DD ready for kinder this morning with no tantrums, lots of laughing and on time!

My moment right now, my DS 4years and my DD 2 years, both sitting down with my niece doing craft. Quiet and content :)
Later it will be hectic before dinner time, but enjoyable again as Wednesday nights are mine and my DH night out.
I think every parent needs a balance of enjoyable moments to go with those terrible moments :D
I've got another one for today - playing words with friends, 120 points on one word!!!! :leap:

I got a haircut and I love it! It's been the same for a long time, but today I got a fringe cut in and my hair is in a bob! Feeling the joy right there that I was brave enough to do it :)
Me too, my niece did it for me, feels great!!! :D:
Mine for today has been my boys playing together having a ball with lots of laughter and fun that didn't end in fighting or someone crying, usually the littlest boy, or getting hurt.

yesterdays moment: enjoying a lovely roast chicken dinner and a glass of read followed by the MKR semi's, even though DH was ill and asleep and DD1 wouldnt go to bed so ended up watching it with me....it was all good cause we had a nice cuddle!!!
today: when dd2 (4 weeks old) woke up from her sleep and DD1 was so excitied, dancing and singing ''babys awake, quick mummy'' she then chatted to baby for ages, ''your so cute, look at big sisters toys, etc etc'' and kissing her on the face, and making DD2 smile!!! magic!

Another one for today (and you will think I am nuts) but I got a big kick out of cleaning out all DD1's old clothes, getting rid of all the 2s and and the scody stuff and washing, folding and putting away all the new winer clothes we bought together for her yesterday.

I have discovered I can get just as good a kick out of retail therapy, even if I am not buying things for me! lol

mine for today, is going to see why ds1 was screaming the house down, to find all 3 playing together, even if ds1 had a toy up his top screaming "GET THIS BABY OUTTA ME!" at least they were playing nice together and not fighting or pestering me!!

Mine today - watching DS's face light up as I printed off a poster of his beloved Murray (Wiggles) and blue-tak'd it to his bedroom wall, he kissed it goodnight - gorgeous!!!

Today's moment... visiting a friend at her house, I'd taken a bag of toys as she doesn't have kids yet, only to see DD and DS peering out the window together watching the man installing their new grey water tank - apparently much more interesting than the boring toys. Very cute!
