Small jelly failure - help needed!

    Hi

Just doing the final preparations for Mr Almost 3's Dinosaur party at the weekend and need a little bit of assistance.

I got some super cute but very small silicon dinosaur moulds that I wanted to make tiny jelly dinosaurs with however round one has been a disaster. As soon as I try to take out of the moulds the jelly just breaks up. Do I just reduce down the amount of liquid that I use to make the jelly or will it just not work? My dinosaur chocolates have worked a treat but wondering if jelly is just to wobbly especially given size of the moulds. They are max 3cm long but with lots of small narrow bits for the horns, heads and feet IYKWIM

    TIA

Maybe the jelly is sticking to the moulds? Have you tried spraying the moulds first?

Half the amount of liquid and make sure they are not sticking. What a fantastic theme for the party, I hope it goes really well.
My DS is 3 on sunday!

before you take them out of the moulds, dip the outside of the mould in some hot water, just a few secs really. That should stop them from sticking, and yeah reduce the liquid.

Mum makes something similar- she adds more gelatine so it holds together.
    Have fun!
