Definitely the balls - they are true hundreds and thousands!
I'm not a big fan of the long ones
Long log shaped sprinkles
Little balls
Either will do
A serious issue like this needs a poll
Definitely the balls - they are true hundreds and thousands!
I'm not a big fan of the long ones
They aren't 100s & 1000s if they aren't balls.
And it isn't Fairy Bread without 100s & 1000s.
Ergo....
PS What is this option "Any will do"? That is crazy talk.
Long ones without a doubt. Agree they're dollar 5s not 100s and 1000s but they are sooooo much better. Balls are for cupcakes.
Of course, if you're really going to take this seriously you'd throw into the mix those combined chocolate and vanilla mixed "shapes" you can buy. They are way too good for kids' party food but everyone needs some fine dining fairy bread at times.
DH has never eaten fairy bread. He said it looks unappetising?!
I may have to re-evaluate our relationship.....
To me Sprinkles are dashes.
100's & 1000's are dots.
That's what I've always known, and in baking books that's what it is too.
Balls!!
Onyx... He WHAT?!
I have family (from the US) who had never had it before coming to Aus. It's pretty much an aussie/nz thing.
Ahhh bellybelly ladies coming together to tackle the hard questions again!
oh p.s, balls!!!
Although i did buy at safeway the other week, fairy dust, which is basically a mix of balls and logs and little snowflake shapes in pink purple and white, the girls love it
I don't have a preference. I love both.
Balls.
Unquestionably.
But DH says Logs.
If I ask him to buy sprinkles he gets them, so I have learned to specify '100s & 1000s'.
I can definitely see the appeal of logs with their softness instead of crunch, but, BALLS it is.
Balls! But yes I have used fairy dust for DD1's fairy party earlier this year. It seemed appropriate![]()
Balls
but i definately had to do the little school girl snigger at balls lol
I do believe the real question is - butter, marg or condensed milk? What to you use to sprinkle your 100's & 1000's on?
And .., crust or no crust?
We also have fairy dust!
Balls. Definitely balls.
That said, I wouldn't say no to any with sprinkles.
