I can't believe she's gone

Thank you everyone once again for your replies and for caring :grouphug:. Life seems to be passing in a haze still, the more days that go by the more I realise she's not coming back :(

Oh hun. Big BIG hugs to you. I wish you strength. I do not want to ever see that day with my furbabies.

I watched Marley and Me last night, DS and i cried like babies and then hugged our oldest furbaby, who is almost 13yo.

I wish you ALL the strength in the world.

I been tossing up if I should post this or not. But I lost my cat last year. She was very sick and I was distraught. I was really a mess for ages. Before she was put to sleep I read this poem to her a few times. Yes I know a crazy cat women (who is crying now lol) but she was basically my baby. I read it for a few weeks every day and it seemed to help me. I DO WARN YOU THOUGH IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE UPSETTING
I just thought maybe it could help you get threw this time like it did me

Through life's journey we took a ride,
The times you spent by my side,
You always were there as my best friend,
But we knew one day, there would be an end.
Heavens doors are open, just walk through the gates,
In this Animal Kingdom sunshine awaits,
To a place you can run free, never grow old,
A world full of freedom, rivers of gold.
Towards the rainbow, you can play and run,
Or in the green fields, you relax in the sun,
Under the trees, just rest in the shade,
As this is the place where dreams are made.
No pain or suffering exists in this place,
Only fields of endless happiness, butterflies you chase.
Beyond the hills you lead your friends,
As my broken heart tries to mend.
When I light a candle and whisper your name,
This shall become forever, an endless flame.
When you look down from pet heaven, see tears on my cheek,

hj1981, I'm getting there hun, thanks so much for caring :hug:. I've just come back from hossy with my new bub and almost immediatelly I started looking for my puss. It seems so lonely without her, even though I have a wee one to look after now!
