We were showed the technique by a dog behaviourlist who was ex police dog trainer, so understandably that's where he's gotten then technique from. We didn't just start ditching chains with no info ;)
No disresepct, I'm merely saying we have tried it, it worked (we've never had to use it again in the last 12 months) and we have a gorgeous family pet who we have a lot of respect for.
