I'm so sorry hunni :hug::hug::hug:. RIP Missy, you'll always be loved, always remembered and always missed by your family.
I was also given the 'Rainbow Bridge' poem when my cat Pooky was put to sleep, it's just so beautiful and comforting, it makes me cry too every time I read it.
My poor kids. 3 cried themselves to sleep. I was shocked by Olivia's reaction. She will be 4 next month and she was devastated to the point that she was almost hyperventilating. Never seen her like that before. My other kitty. Miss ollie looks lonely tonight :(. I tried encouraging her to come inside (my girls are outside kitties) but she wasn't having a bar of it.

Your poor little chickens, I wish I could give them their beloved Missy back. It's amazing how big the love is between kids and their beloved pets. It's beautiful, but so hard to watch when their little hearts are breaking :(

The kids are a lot better today. Olivia wants us to buy another missy :(.
Ollie was very quiet this morning and wouldnt eat so I bought her a treat from the shops and she ate :). She looks really sad though. I keep trying to get her to come inside but she won't. They are outside kitties and have been for 12 years so maybe she thinks she isn't allowed to come in

My other kitty is doing quite well but she has changed where she sleeps at night. Missy and Ollie always curled up on the back veranda at night and now she sleeps on the front stairs.
The kids are doing fine. They talk about missy from time to time
