Does anybody else on the mini pill...

Know their cycle back to front and not bother taking it on days where you KNOW it's impossible to get pregnant (eg just before AF is due, during AF etc) or am I just weird? It saves money at any rate! Lol

No. When I was on the minipill I had no bleeding, so no cycles, so took it continuously.

And had no baby. Am seriously looking forward to going back on it next year! Baby and no periods, bring it on.

I was opposite to TFB, frequent bleeding and got pregnant while taking it religiously and tandem breastfeeding. i don't have faith in it as contraceptive for me.

I got AF on the regular pill so the mini pill had no hope, lol

I was the same as Hotl had lots of breakthrough bleeding and was worried about how it was working so went off it as I was worried about getting pregnant again.

If AF is coming then I'd say the mini pill isn't doing its job. I was under the impression you didn't get AF while on it. I had break through bleeding to start with, but haven't had AF since having DS3 9 mths ago. I thought if AF arrived while on the mini pill we had to use other contraception. With DS2 I only got AF once he stopped breastfeeding and I stopped taking the mini pill.

I've had regular cycles since March last year while on it. That was just after DD turned 1. I've only stopped BFing at Christmas time (2013). I've DTD at O time on the MP heaps and I'm pretty confident I've been ovulating since I get O pain. Weird.
