Anyone from Northern Beaches of Sydney?

I've just moved to Dee Why with my DP and i'm due with my first bubs in November... just wondering if anyone is still lurking in this Northern Beaches thread?! It would be good to meet some other Northern Beaches people!! :D

Hi Keira, yes we're still lurking... well I am at least! I'm in Cromer just up the hill from you. Dee Why is lovely, I've lived there before & loved it, where did you move from?

Let me know if you want to meet up anytime, even before you have your baby if you like, its great to be able to make friends in the area & I believe you can never have too many friends! :-)

I used to live in Dee Why as well. We were just at Dee Why beach this morning (very early since the boys rose at 5.30 this morning! - enjoy your sleepins before the bub comes). My boys love the baby pool at Dee Why beach.

Would be good for us all to get together sometime. I should be able to do a Wed or Thur morning at the moment.

So far Thurs sounds best for me as Brianna is at kindy on Wed....

OK, I was thinking we could maybe go to the "Jungle Gym" in Dee Why, that way the kids can play & we can all relax & have a coffee etc.
It's on the corner of Thew Pde & South Creek Rd East (I think it's East) Same building as Zone 3, right near Pittwater High School. We go there quite often as Brianna loves it & the tables are set up so we can see the kids & relax more.
Let me know your thoughts :-)

Hi Belle, no we didn't, nobody wrote back lol must all be busy! Thursday this week should be fine unless I get called into work but I should have enough notice beforehand to let you know on here if I cant make it.
The directions for the play centre were right but the school is wrong, I said Pittwater High (which is in Mona Vale lol) I meant Cromer High School.
Belle there is an area for smaller babies there where you can sit them on the padded floor with lots of toys around them or even put them in the walker thingy that doesn't walk haha I think they're called excer-saucers?

Sounds great.... I didnt go last week.
I've just got a job so as of the 20th of Nov I'll be working on Tues & Thurs but thats only for 4 weeks because next year my days change to Mon & Fri so I'll be free again on Thurs next year.
Tomorrows fine as I dont start work for a few weeks.
What time were you thinking??

Just wondering if you are all still trying to or are meeting up?
I am moving back to the beaches (Collaroy) this weekend, and am sad to leave my mothers group here in the hunter :(
My little man Tyler (almost 11 months) loves the interaction (almost as much as I do), so would love to meet up with some local mums & bubs.
May be a week or two until we can commit to something but would love to meet up :)
