I'll be there about 10 I reccon but if that's too early I'll go shopping at target for a bit.
Well weather looks ok this morning 10 sounds good to me ill join u at that time, after all a couple of the girls have places to be starting at 12 and 1 etc so 10 sounds good
I may come depends on how i feel at 9:30.
Nelle GJ does not have a play area for the kiddies & yep it's the one near safeway/coles :)
I'll try & be there at 10 we'll see how madam is behaving
I've had a ****e morning with a 6yo throwing a tantrum of epic proportions. I'm not sure if I'll be sending him to school as he is in his room cooling off and I'm on here cooling off too  Trying to decide what to do and my brain is fried.
Sorry we couldn't make it, Miss K just woke up from her nap & since she didn't sleep very well last night i didn't want to wake her.
Will make it next time :)
I didn't get a chance to check messages yesterday otherwise I would have come down for sure. If i'm not working next friday i will be there. Is 10 going to be the time we meet every week? Whatever time is ok with me, as long as i'm not working!
How is everyone anyway, sounds like you've had a good morning Raven! Sounds like my normal morning with my 4 year old.
I just realized next Friday is Maddi's 2nd b'day so not sure if i'll make it or not.
10ish is good for us.We will be there next week
Welcome Kayla, you are more than welcome to join us on Fridays
Off topic here and im not sure if anyone looks at the thread on weekends, but its a nice day today and id like to take the kids to a park but i dont know where any are, any help would be good thanks
Mel there is a park just off main st.
If you walk towards centelink & the library you'll come to Pakenham Hall. Just up from there is a playground :)
There is the train park just over the train line on the edge of herritage springs. There are 2 small parks inside the henty park estate. There is Pakenham recreation reserve Cnr of Henry & John st
Thats all I can think of at the moment
Daydream Believer, Thanks for the welcome and the invite along to the meet, DS and i do swimming lessons on Fridays but while its two weeks holidays but i would LOVE to come along and meet u girls.
Wat do the kids do in the cafe? i dont think mine would sit still in his pram well i no he wouldnt lol active 16 mth old.
DD stays in the pram with her toys & stuff because she's not walking yet. Unfortunately there's no play area for them there.
ETA- f the weather's good I might take DD to the park afterwards. Hopefully there's no stupid swooping magpies!!
My DS was a late walker too, didnt start till 14 and a half mths, i was dying for him to walk and loving the fact he is but he doesnt sit still anymore. Is ur DD close to walking?
I hope so. LOL
She walks around the walls & furniture. And runs with her wooden trolley. I think she is too scared to let go  She climbs up & down on the chairs & couches.
You can add me to msn if you like. Just click on the people on the top right of my post

I added you on FB & MSN
Happy birthday!!!!!
i'm not working friday so i'll be there Friday. Happy birthday to Madi for next week Mo. Hope she has a great day
As the weather is getting better, there is a cafe with park right next to it at Berwick. I think it was the old Berwick primary school. Just an idea for the mums that have kids that can walk and dont sit still lol
Might have to check it out sometime
It looks like a nice place there, but I think we are sticking local because mummymelsta doesn't have a car :)
Thanks for all the park locations of course by the time DD was up from her morning nap it was raining and we couldnt go
But we did stop by the one just over the train tracks yesterday alex had a ball.
 You guys are just so nice, thats very sweet of u all to do that just for me. I like the idea of getting together weekly not sure how alex will like that tho lol he hates sitting in the pram for 2 long
is there anywhere local around pakey that u can have coffee while the kids play, i no i wouldnt be able to come along just leaving DS in the pram, its not ideal, he would just scream the whole time and give u all headacks lol, active toddler!!!
Monkey G's is probley one of the only places. Only other places are Mccas or places like that I think.
Why did u guys decided against Monkey G's? im sure the kids would love it, much better then sitting in the pram or is there a reason the coffee shop was picked?
Just for variety I think and possibly because it was absolutley chockas!. TBH MonkeyG would be better for the kiddos than trying to keep them reasonably quiet in GJ's and they make good coffee so I'll be happy enough to go there.
Im happy with monkey gs all tho its a longer walk lol
Not for the next few weeks tho its school holidays it will be packed
monkey g's ok with me. DD last friday at day care next week!
Monkey G's is ok with me. I just dont like having to pay for DD to get in when she cant play because she's crawling and cant do anything. When you dont pay they get all snotty when she does go near the equipment
Just a thought for those of us that dont drive. Berwick is easy to get by bus, and its a 2 min walk to the cafe/park. i dont mind catching a bus with whoever doesnt drive, as it would be nice to bus it with some1 for a change lol. Although monkey g's sounds good, havent walked there yet, so it'll be an adventure!!
if you guys want somewhere for the kids to get around, and have a coffee, you can always come to my house. I don't have great coffee Raven (only instant!) but I am happy to have everyone over. Kids can get around and parents can relax....its up to you guys. (just hope I'm not working. Won't know til Wednesday night)
maybe we can rotate houses as im the same im happy to have people here too tho my place isnt massive its big enough.
Mzy.......... i see where ur coming from but for me sometimes its not the length of the bus ride but the fact buses are an hour apart so if i just miss one i have to wait, then theres the fast my double pram doesnt fit on the buses too good. Most i have to go in the back door and i block off the last rows of seats and makes me feel
I dont mind whatever we decide. Its an excuse to get out of the house!
I'm happy to rotate houses or do Monkey G :)
 Vee I only have instant too so that's only what's on offer at my place ;)
I'm fine with rotating houses! I think we talked about that too at GJ's didn't we?
