There hasn't been a date set for the next meet up but i don't think it will be until the New Year...maybe we could all meet up one day for lunch , my brithday is very early in the New Year !

That would be a great idea! What date is your bday Leah? I'm back from adel on the 5th so anytime after that would be great. The playcentre was at Jindalee if convenient for everyone. Let me know what everyone wants to do!

There is also the Centenary Tavern, that has indoor outdoor play area - with computer games?!

yeah that's a good idea harmony less expensive too cos you have to pay for entry at the play cafe.

Yeh i think so with the men! i know my DH loves meeting ppl that i talk to on here! but if that was the case than it might have to be on a weekend!

Great idea about having our other halves come along but that won't work for me this time as hubby will be working, poor guy always misses out on these things!

Yeah I am highly doubting my husband will get 2 minutes off too... unless we make it a Sunday... that would probably be the only time he would be able to come... Goes back to work on the 5th, and then he is back to working 6 days..... You would all be welcome to come here for a BBQ on a Sunday? Otherwise, yeah Im easy about meeting somewhere....

Or of course I am happy to keep it with us ladies too.... Whatever!

I haven't had a chance to be on here longer than a few mins until now! It was so great to meet you all and your beautiful children. Christina, Thank you so much for having us all there. I hope we didn't leave too much mess! Leah & Becky it was lovely to meet you. And Harmony - you were missed! I was looking forward to meeting you and your little baby :)

I'd love to come along to the next catch up. I must say though.. I went to the Centenary Tavern on Melbourne Cup day with a couple of friends thinking the playground would be great to entertain the kids.. well.. has anyone ever been to those parks where they have that bark that turns the children black? The kids were literally black from head to toe.. I took William to the bathroom to wash him down and caused so much mud mess all over the sink and bench and floor.. when it came time to eat it was messy as they were so filthy! I don't mind the kids getting grubby at all.. after all it's fun... but I must say.. that bark is a nightmare! I don't mind if they play in the indoor playroom if we go there though. Otherwise it'd be nice to check out the new play centre at Jindalee.. what are the costs like? I don't mind either way and happy to fit into whatever works best for everyone!

Doing something on a weekend with the partners sounds like fun too.. although we already have a few things on the calendar for January weekends so not sure if we'd make it if it's a weekend in January.

Anyhow.. looking forward to seeing you all next time!!... and meeting you Harmony! Anyone else interested in joining in is always welcome :D

I know what you mean about that bark, it's horrid stuff you almost have to take the kids in their daggiest clothes cause by the end of it they will be filfthy...the dirtier they are the more fun they have had which is great but not when your out in public for a nice lunch ...iykwim.

I'm happy to go to that play centre at Jindalee if everyone else is happy to do so....are you ok with driving that far Becky ?

Ok cool... well, why dont we make it the Jindalee play centre this time... for early Jan... and then maybe early Feb, we will arrange a BBQ or lunch or something.... What do you all think?

i didn't get a chance to get online yesterday - joshy had a terrible asthma attack and we were at the mater all day and into the night - he has settled down now and is resting.

wed the 7th fine for me, the play centre costs 8.90 for under 2's and 11.90 for over 2's - adults are free. If everyone is cool with that i can book us in.

Becky - a barbeque at your place with partners sounds great - bout time we all travelled to you!

Christina, omg sorry to hear poor little Joshy had a asthma attack- i hope he is at home resting up. Sending lots of get better cuddles to your lil man.

Weds 7th sounds great ...is it one of those centres that you pay the entry fee and it is unlimited time ? I'm happy for you to book us in if everyone else is happy!

he came down with a cold on saturday and it all went downhill from there, was quite scary actually cos he lost his colour and his tummy was all bloated... thank goodness he's ok now docs were fantastic.

Oh, i'm sure it was very scary for you all ... it's great to have a good Dr too isn't it.

No am dreading it actually, i wish we hadn't committed to going back it would be nice having a quiet chrissie with the kids, instead i'm gonna have chloe screaming on the plane, not to mention a crazy xmas day visting all the rellies...next year i'm staying here!

Yeah i know what you mean...we stayed home last year and spent the day with the kids it was great and so much less stressful. This year my parents are coming up and my brother and his family are coming over so should be nice without being too hectic.

we got a doc to come to the house and then we called an ambulance cos he wasn't improving. he's been really good today, just got a slight wheeze now which is a big improvement on yesterday. having a very lazy day both kids are exhausted after spending so much time at the hosp yesterday so have not gone anywhere today. where are those xmas lights leah?? joshua loves them asks to see them all day long!

I do know what street it is Harmony...it's Wooton Cres Springwood! If you can convince your hubby i might even pass you in the street- keep your eye peeled for a orange xr6 with black stripes..
