Did we decide that Wednesday the 14th of October at 10ish would be our next meet? Of course it would be at Loillipops at Brand Depot.

Trac - as you saw from pics we had a great day for the birthday too - but he is still not yet 12 months at Lollipops - I think I can stretch it a few more weeks especially cos he isn't walking yet tehehehehe.
SamiH for the price of a coffe I think i can do that. And yeah I reckon you could still get z in for under 1 as R went in last time as under 1 lol.

I cannot believe how quiet we are in here (all addicted to facebook lol). We use to be on here all the time and now it is so few nad in between.
Looking forward to next Wednesday, have to get out of this hous eit is driving me insane...ooooohhh and school holidays with this lovely weather is just GREAT...enough of the whinge.

Not sure if i am going to make it tomorrow as i am not very well. We had some sad news last week and this is not the place i wanted to tell all my dear friends but we were pregnant and now i am in the process of miscarrying :cry:. We had know for about 4 weeks we were pregnant and i hadn't said anything as i have such a great track record. We saw bubs heartbeat about 3 wks ago and was really excited but last week when we went for the ultrasound as i had started bleeding bub passed away at 7 weeks, i was 9 weeks last week when we went. Today i have finally started bleeding, so it has been an emotional rollercoaster here since last Thursday.
So depending on how i feel we might not make it which will upset B heaps as i had promised her she would be seeing everyone but sometimes these things happen. If i don't make it i hope that we can all get together in a week or two as i am like Sami look forward to catching up with everyone.

Oh no Trace :cry::cry::cry::crying::crying::comfort: I am so very sad to hear this - words just cannot convey how heavy my heart is for you and your family. If you do feel up to it - if your physical pain isn't too severe - please still come even if to drop B off and you can just wander and have some time. If it is any consolation at all, at least with us you can talk about it openly and know we hear you and understand your frustrations.
I saw on FB that sweetpeas DD has been sick anyway - I will check bakc in tomorrow morning - cos if Trac isn't going, and sweetpea isnt going, prob best to postpone??
bub had not been sick since 10 this morn so if no more will be there, and brining a friend and her boy, he has autism and she has about 8weeks togo with her 2nd.
Trac, so sorry to hear that, and if you do feel up to come, as sami said even if it is for b to play and you to have time for yourself.

I don't think I'll be able to make it.. Alex has been absolutely ratty this week+teething+all he wants to do is hang with me.. sigh.. can't wait until this developmental stage is over.
I think I jinxed my self by saying yesterday she had not been sick since 10 in the morn, when I got home from my normal tuesday night stuff, and woke her up since she had been asleep since 530 she had thrown up in her sleep. And 3 changes of beding later and now going from the other end I think it best we stay away. No one else will want it.

sounds good. only thing is I have been offered a realy good job and won't know when I am starting till next Tuesday when I meet with the National CEO. Its 4 days a week, hoping 2 days in the office and 2 at home. Have got care arranged if it is a go ahead for Tuesdays and Fridays.

Been away from BB for a couple of years but am back and so glad to see a Canberra group!! We didn't have one waaaay back when (not that I could find anyways!).

I work four days a week at the moment and have Fridays off... but will be on Mat leave in about 12 weeks anyways... :)

I think we will probably be arranging another meet up in feburary sometime????? Everyone, can feel free to jump in with suggestions as to when. Not sure when school starts and if people wish to meet up again before or after school goes back. Keep an eye on this thread and it will be updated at some point. :)
