Hello,
Teagz, I agree your wedding photo's are just beautiful, you must be really wrapped with them!
Beata all the best for your upcoming scan, I am sure that everything will be fine.
Ellie, all the best to you too with your 12-wk scan coming up, it will be so exciting for you to see your bub. I know what you mean about the movements, I am feeling proper kicks now, not big hard ones or anything, but it is so lovely & reassuring.
Jo & Laney, your babies are so lovely :D
I have had a very long week at work, very tired, but everything is going well. Was Jasmine's angelversary on Thursday, had an awful dream on Wed night that this baby died. Also had a midwife appointment on Thursday & she was just lovely, first person that asked me 'what the baby's name was' when I told her about our loss. She found the HB straight away, which was very reassuring & I think just what I needed. Hope everyone is well.

Berry, I just wanted to quickly give you a big cuggle  I've been having those dreams too and they're horrible. I'm so glad you have such a lovely midwife though, the care that we have during our next pregnancies sometimes makes such a huge difference to how we feel about things.
and another cuddle  for your angelversary, i hope you were kind to yourself xx
-
Megan, thanks hunni. I am so excited and can't wait to see our little darling again!
I will be thinking of you and Jasmine on Thursday, I hope you have a lovely and peaceful day.
Girls, today is All Saints day, so light a candle for your precious little angels tonight.

Hello,
Thanks Teagz, its awful waking up to dreams like that isn't it. I'm sure our bubs are just fine, just our sub-conscious minds going into over-drive. Thanks to you as well Beata, it was last Thursday, nice to get past it really, such sad memories.
No exciting news to post, just getting nice & big now. Not really looking forward to summer, today's weather was terrible, 38 degrees!
Hope everyone is well.

Megan, what is with the weather in Sydney??? We were hoping for nice weather for our nice long weekend (we had Cup Day yesterday but some people take the Monday off as well, like me!) and the weather was so average yesterday...windy and a few showers with a top of 20. This coming weekend it's 30 plus the whole weekend!! Oh well!
I'm glad you're cuizing along nicely hun, I say nothing exciting happening is good!
re the bad dreams, I've just had a couple of bad ones but I think it's b/s I have my scan today. I just hope everything is measuring on dates and bubs little bits are all good
Teagz, hope you're feeling better hun. I often get jabby pains above my pubic bone and on the sides, and they are probably just uterus stratching pains, but often I think, is it my appendix?? is it anything bad??? you know the thoughts! lol. Sometimes it's constipation pain, ouch! I've bought myself some benefiber (mixes with water beautifuly and has no taste) and also some inner heatlh plus tablets hoping they will help with my insides and make my poo nice, sorry TMI! But it reaaaaaaaally hurts sometimes when the poo is like a rock :o
Hi Jo, Laney, Bec & Ellie, hope you are all well.
Had a txt from Diana yesterday to let me know Fabian is now home. Yaaaaaaay! I am so happy for her and hubby! If you're reading this Diana, GL with everything hun and enjoy your 'home' bonding with your little guy :p

Beata, thanks! The pain has pretty much gone today *touch wood* I spent all yesterday sleeping though, which was just so nice ^^; I get my wee test back today to see what the blood was all about, hopefully it's just a UTI/Bladder infection, and nothing serious. Although if it is I won't hear the end of it, DH's fave saying is "don't hold in your wee's you'll get a bladder infection!" And I understand the poo's! At the begining I got constipated so bad that I actually split myself a couple of times  not pleasent! The things we put ourselves through for these little creatures we're growing ;)
Can't wait to hear about your US today either! Woo!
Berry, gotta love summer. I don't mind the heat, it's the humidity we keep getting that I'm not happy about!
-
Teagz, how did you go today hun? Hope it's just an infection .
Ladies, had my scan today and everything looks great, rights on 19 weeks 4 days, but my little darling wouldn't uncross it's legs and I have to come back in two weeks!
Oh well, at least the doc was happy with all the bits on the scan (woohoo!!) and said he won't charge me for the scan next time. I just wanna know!!!!!!!!!

Hello,
Teagz, hope all is well, I think I must have missed a post or something. I get really bad pains sometimes and at first I wasn't sure what it was then realised that it was constipation - lovely! Everything must be so squashed up in there, sometimes I'll be in the loo for ages & my DH or whoever I'm with panic that something is wrong, not something you want to explain to just anyone, lol!
Beata, so very pleased that your scan went well hun, that is wonderful news. You have a cheeky little monkey in there playing games with you  Hopefully it will be easy to tell at the next scan. Do you have a feeling if its a boy or girl? We have decided to have a surprise, which is exciting but I so want to know some days, limits shopping as I don't know what colour to buy, hmm maybe that was DH's plan! Enjoy the warm w/end, 30's isn't bad, 38 is awful.
Great news about Diana & little Fabian, thanks for keeping us updated Beata. Thinking of you Diana and sending you my best wishes that your little guy continues to grow really well. Enjoy your babymoon finally at home :)

Berry, naa, Beata was stalking me in another thread and I've just continued the convo on sorry haha. Bit slack of me! On Tuesday I had to go up to the hospital because I was having bad pains in my groin area (where my leg joins to my hoo haa ) that was coming and going in waves, and just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything weird. While I was there I had a wee test and they found some blood in my urine, so I had to do another one to get sent off for testing up at "the lab" - which came back with no blood in it at all! So, we're all baffled!
While I was there though they put me on a fetal monitor to make sure bubs was ok and I this pain wasn't contractions... my god, that freaked me out :o Little JR's HB would go from 160 (at which he was actually kicking at the disc things) then drop to 128/130... At once stage I watched it do a count down from 162, 158, 152, 150, 145, 144, 141, 138, 136, 132, 131, 130, 128... and started to panicing that it was just going to keep going downward until it stopped... then he'd boot the discs again and it would hover around the 150's. The nurse said it was perfect though... I think it gave me a few gray hairs, myself! I didn't realise there little heart beats fluctuated so much?
So yeah, the dr was pretty confident that it was just my poor kidneys being all squished up and pain radiating down, which makes sense because when I went home and layed on my right side the pain went away completely. Hurt though! I'd rather a contraction, this pain was just a sharp craming feeling in one tiny spot about the size of my fist, if it spread itself out a bit it felt like it would have made it not so bad. haha, that probably makes no sense... but anyway... I'm all fine now, it's a mystery. :dunno:
It's good to know you have people who are watching out for you, even if you have just gone missing in the loo for a little while ;)
Great to hear about Dianne and Fabian! I was only thinking about them over the weekend and wondering if little Fabian was at home yet. So nice to hear that they are now!
Beata, Woo about the scan! When will you go back? I'm itching to find out whether you're having a boy or a girl too hehe. It's so nice of him that he's not going to charge you either.
Ah well I better get back to work... TGIF!
Mwah! xx
P.S. 20 Working Days til maternity leave, not that I'm counting... ;)

Hi ladies,
Megan, I am so desperate to find out the sex as one minute I'm having girl vibes and then boy vibes! I am a terribly practical person, so I want to know what colours to buy and themes to do for the nursery! My friend at work finally did the ring on the hair strand test over my belly, and at first it was going from side to side indicating boy (Josh) and then it started to go in circles indication girl. Then it went back to side to side, indication a boy. A psychic recently told me I will have three pregnancies......hmmm.
I'm so impressed that you can wait to find out the sex of your bub, the suspence would just kill me! lol. Looking forward to the weekend it's gonna be very nice and warm (not too hot but warm enough to wear my maxi dress!).
Teagz, glad the pain went away hun! Mystery about the blood in the urine though, oh well, it's good that it's not there anymore! Going back on the 18th for my second 'free' scan, I am sure bub will co operate this time as I'm going to tell it to, or else! lol.
I can't wait until my mat. leave too, I have 6 and a bit weeks to go....feels like I'm going so early, but it just happens that we have 3 weeks off work during xmas, so it's not really worth for me to come back mid January for 4 weeks only to have only 4 weeks until my c/s! I need to nest damnit!
Big hugs to everyone else, 20 weeks tomorrow, yeepee!!!!!!!
Luv

Teagz, I know how upsetting strange pains can be during pregnancy. I had a ton with Grayson. It comes and goes. They only get worse as your belly grows  When i was 9 months every time Grayson moved I was in horrible pain. I think it is mostly muscle pain. When he was in a strange position it would hurt and then he would move and i felt better.
I also had a little blood in my urine from time to time. My doctor said that it was normal.
It is a good sign to see the heart rate go up and down. That is exactly what they look for when they do a nonstress test.
-
Laney thanks  I have been getting lots of those stretchy pains but this one was a bit different so it made me panic a bit. I haven't had any since though which is good! And good to know about the HB!!
Beata, woo not long for you then either! I can't wait to go, had enough of work... although it's better now that the air con is fixed!
I had another pee test at my Dr appointment this morning too and no blood in that either... very weird, but good!
I was also told... I've put on too much weight. Boo. In two weeks I've put on two kilo's and in the whole 30 I've put on about 11kg's (I started around 73ish and now I'm 85.5kg... oh ok, so that's 12.5kg ) - but I don't think that was the problem, it was the fact I had put 2 kilo's on in 2 weeks when I should only have been putting on .5kg's.
Whoops
De-press-ing
I liked my other Dr better.
/end sook
Berry & ALM  Hope you guys are great!
-
Teagz, don't worry hun!!! I think your weight gain is very healthy. I know some girls who put on over 30 kgs over their pg! And one of them lost 15 kg soooooo quickly after the birth, it was all water! I have put on 6 kg so far, but I'm 10 weeks behind you hun, so you're doing great! Don't worry about the stupid doctor :shakehead:!
-
ooops, I'm 11 weeks behind you hun! That's even better!
-
Hi Girls,
Teagz, that whole ordeal sounds awful, glad that everything is looking good now, I'm sure you are relieved to get further confirmation with your recent urine test - thank goodness! Weight gain can be stressful, but only you know how you have been eating, if your eating well (reasonable) then don't stress too much, everyone is different & some people tend to put on more than others but are not storing it all as fat. I was a bit over my 'comfort level' before I fell pg, so I'm really hoping that I don't put on too much during the pg as the thought of having a stack of weight to try & lose after the baby depresses me a little. Must say, I have been a bit naughty for the last few weeks  but try & exercise (just walking) most days. I've put on about 5kg so far.
Beata, I would laugh if your little sweet pea 'hid' from you again when you do the next scan lol! No, I'm sure that you will find out next time, surely he/she can't hide twice! Very exciting to be finding out soon. I must say it does kill me some days, would really love to know, but that is it now, no more scans. It would certainly make it easier to plan, I must say, not knowing is really putting a dampener on my shopping plans :D
Hope everyone is well.

Hey my lovey's, I have just quickly popped on because I have a random question to ask you all...
What have you done with your angels ashes? If you decided to have them back, that is...
Jayvan's angelversary is a month tomorrow, and each day it gets closer I feel that I need to do something with his ashes other than keep them in my house. Spread them somewhere, I don't know... but I have this urge to let them go and to let him go, and not a "oh I should do that urge" but this instict (maybe?) that it's time - not to forget but just so we can both be at peace (and so I know when I'm old and grey and have no memory left, and I get shipped off to a nursing home by little JR here his little soul isn't going to be thrown away in the rubbish ) But then, I don't want to regret it either *sigh* I haven't spoken to DH about it yet either incase he agree's to it, and we plan something, and I regret it
Maybe this is just a nesting thing i'm going through...
-
Hi lovely ladies,
Megan, I had to laugh when you said my sweet pea might hide again next week! I hope he/she is not so shy this time around! I swear, if for some reason the legs are crossed again, I am going to wait until birth! Wow, look at your ticker flying hun! You're almost 23 weeks and I'm almost 21! There's only 2 weeks between us! Hope you're well sweets :p
Teagz, I still have my little darling's ashes here. I think I told you that when his due date came on 12 Feb, I planned to put the ashes at the Memorial Park but totally freaked out the night before and cancelled the service! I don't know hun, but I just can't let him go. He has a plaque at the Memorial Park so family/friends can put flowers down and visit and so forth, but he's not really there. I plan to have his ashes be put together with me in my 'box' when it's my time to go so we can be burried together. I do understand your need to 'let him go' and release him, is there a special place where your DH and you love to visit, eg. a nice spot at the beach? I have heard of many people just planting a nice tree in a pot and scattering the ashes there...Big hugs hun, I hope you come up with something!
Love and hugs to all :p

Teagz, I released Parker's ashes in a special place but I still have Shelby's. I did have a hard time after I let go of Parker's ashes. I think that is why I still have Shelby's. I have an oak tree that I have been growing in a pot since we lost her. I plan to maybe let some of her ashes go when I plant the tree. I am just not ready to let all of her go yet. I might never be. You'll know when the time is right. Maybe it will be after you have your bub. You can all do it together.
