Congratulations - what great news!!!
found this chart about HCG levels:
Guideline to hCG levels during pregnancy:
hCG levels in weeks from LMP (gestational age)* :
3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml
* These numbers are just a GUIDELINE-- every woman?s level of hCG can rise differently. It is not necessarily the level that matters but rather the change in the level.
Hope this helps.
Thank you all so so much for your replies, you don't know how good it is to get them, just to get a little feedback that what I'm feeling is ok.
Merry Christmas to you all,
Cheers Missy
Hiya,
I just got my HCG levels back, last monday it was 1050 and this monday (this morning) it was 10300.
I've heard it's the amount of increase rather than the number which is important, does this type of increase in a week sound ok?
I'm still stressing about it being eptopic does anyone know anything about time frames before I can rule that out?
Thanks so much cheers Missy
HI your numbers sound good, I think they are meant to double every 48 hours so you sound on track to me! Congrats!
Congrats on your big surprise!
With the ectopic I think they can rule it out with an ultrasound. You could always ask to have one done and that would reassure you and hopefully you could see the little blob that it is at the moment. They may also want to do one to confirm your dates.
Good luck and from the numbers you have got it sounds all good.
Yup - what Ryatha said. I had an ultrasound at about 8 weeks and that was purely to check how many there were and to rule out ectopic.
Congratulations hun! :)
congrats :D
