OMG BFP for me..pcos and on clomid

I am just wondering how many cycle of Clomid you were on until you found out you were pregnant? as I have the same situation as you, have mild PCOS and been trying to almost 2 years now and on my 4th cycle of Clomid [1-3months of 25mg clomid and 4th month is 50mg and this was my 1st month of 50mg].

What are your signs of pregnancy, did you take your test on your missed period, how many days is your period cycle, did you or still drinking coffee? Mine's 33-40 days gap. I have all the signs of pregnancy 2 weeks before my period is due except I think the constipation and lots of wind for this month which I think it would be cause of Clomid.

I only did 1 cycle of clomid when i found out. i was on clomid from day 5 - 9.

My early signs were tiredness and sore nipples. Drinking coffee?? Yes Ive drank coffee and continue to do so, and drink coke etc.

Clomid never gave me wind..pregnancy sure does tho..and my cycles were very irregular. i was given tablets to bring on a period and clean all my lining and that out to be able so support a pregnancy, aka, help it stick.

i sure have sore nipples and feel tired all the time 2 weeks before my period comes. do you feel sore nipples and feel tired as PMS or just when you found out your pregnant? im not sure what the difference is of taking clomids in different days of period cycle because i always take mine from day 2-6 of my period cycle to make sure im not pregnant, the doctor said. sometimes i wonder if i can take day 3 or so if it makes difference.

they say its better to stop drinking coffee when your pregnant for the health of your baby or any sodas. I feel tempted in taking pregnancy test but I reckon to wait til i missed my period or maybe 2 days before. they say to forget about pregnancy and not think about it all the time otherwise it won't come. Did you keep on thinking about pregnancy?

i really know how you feel.

No i was never this tired b4 i got my AF and i never noticed my nipples being sore until it was about a week after "o". My nipples havent been sore before AF ever! i dont know about other ppl but mine just never were.

i dont know if the day makes much different when u take clomid. I was just on a strict scedule to take clomid from day 5-9 and then bloodtest on day 21.

The no drinking coffee stuff?? dont worry about it!!! nothing is proven. as long as u dont have like 4 litres of coke a day and 7 cups of coffee. I drink about 1-2 cups of coke a day but not coffee anymore as bub doesnt want me having it..lol..good ol morning sickness.

Argh it makes me so angry when people say, dont think about it and it will happen or it will happen when the time is right. ARGH!! how damn frustrating!!! If only they knew, its all u think about!!!! u cant help what ur own mind does. lol I thought about pregnancy every second of the day for 2 years when we were TTC. Think about it as much as u like darl :)

that was easy for you then if you said you never have sore nipples nor experience tiredness before your period coz as for me i experience everything before i get my period so i know it's because of period coming.

well at least i got a proof! there u were thinkin every single day of pregnancy b4 and was drinking coffee and still drinking coke but here you are a pregnant woman! :D so i dont wanna listen to those things of "dont think about it.." etc..

I had 3x pregnancy test positive [2 from yesterday and 1 this morning]. GP said I don't need to have a blood test to prove it but I can't believe it until now I really can't believe it. GP said I am 6 weeks pregnant and will have dating ultrasound on the 8th week.

How's yours going? What were your first steps when you found out your positive? Are pregnancy test accurate? I believe in it but scared at the same time. Did you have blood test? I have PCOS and was on Clomid too. [3 cycles of 25mg and only 1 cycle of 50mg Clomid]. I am so thankful after all the prayers and dreams of having a baby, it happened already! Thank God :pray:

Yees u are pregnant, having pcos and taking clomid does not affect the result :) When i questioned my doc about it all he said was "do you realise them pregnancy tests were invented by scientists, the chances of them being wrong are soooo low, even non existant". So hun, even tho i know u will be in shock, it is true and u ARE pregnant, congrats!!! My pregnancy seems to be going just fine, i have my first scan tomorrrow!! Yes i did have a blood test, 2 actually to make sure my levels were nice and high, which they were, so dont stress about not having a blood test everything will be fine. If u really want a blood test done, go to a different doctor and just tell them u need a refferal to get a blood test done because you have had positive preg tests. They should give u one. Oh and rememeber i have PCOS and fell preggas on clomid too, so u shud know now that u are pregnant PCOS plays no role in anything anymore, while u are pregnant u pretty much dont have PCOS. So dont6 be scared that something might happen becoz of it!! anyway hun i better go, huge day ahead. Try and rest as much as possible :) and once again congrats!!!!!!!! xoxxoox

But I still hope when I get to see my OB this week for appointment she will do some test for me just to make sure. Did they do any test on you though when you found out your pregnant..because you fell pregnant with clomid too.

hey hun, no they didnt do any extra tests bcoz of the clomid. But u will have to get a referral from ur doc to get ur bloodwork done, its rountine in any pregnancy. They will test for rubella, aids, hep b, and anything else that may be harmful to bubs. But its a horrible one coz they take like 5 viles of blood out of you and make u pee in a cup heheheheheee but hay, its all worth it :) congrats again hunni xoxo
