6w 3d with spotting & cramping

I had my appointment this morning at the hospital (which is the initial consultation), and the ob had requested my results from the clinic from yesterdays u/s.

The results said that I have had a missed miscarriage. :crying: There is nothing in the sac. So the hospital has booked me in for a d&c.

I still have my appointment this afternoon at my local gp. Even though he was probably going to tell me the same thing the ob did, I guess I should still go to that to tell him what was discussed this morning. Should I still have blood work done if he requests it? Or should I just go ahead with the d&c and move on and be done with it?

Just see what your gp suggests and tell him what was discussed at the hospital.

I'm scheduled for the d&c on Friday, but the last few days I've had some bleeding so not sure if it will be necessary. Ill go and see my doc and see what he says.
