I have been drinking some V8, but I have noticed that it has lots of Vitamin A - which I have heard is 'bad' in pregnancy. It is so hard to get all your veggie intake.
The dip and veggie thing sounds yum. Salsa, is low/no fat. You could dip in avocado/ guacamole (preferably homemade) if you can stomach it. Avocado has lots of goodies in it
I think there is a difference between some types of vitamin A. I believe its the animal derived vitamin A that you need to be cautious about, such as in liver - its called retinol or retinyl ester. But I have heard that the vegetable based vitamin A (b-carotene) is completely fine....:
