Will be thinking of you over the weekend, and saying a special prayer for your little one. I hope Monday comes around super quick for you
HCG is only really helpful in very early pregnancy. After approx 8-12 weeks or inbetween there they do actually decrease. Some peoples will decrease alot sooner then others also. If you look at the table for expected HCG levels for the gestation by the 2nd and 3rd trimester HCG is lower then the first trimester so at some stage you would expect to see it dropping. I'd say for the gestation you are (I'm assuming between 8-10weeks) that HCG testing doesn't have its place in reasurring a healthy pregnancy or trying to determine a pregnancy that may be lost. I'd say an ultrasound would be a much better way or seeing what is happening.
Gentle hugs to you Sarah. :comfort: Seeing your bub’s heartbeat twice is fantastic. Hold on to that while you wait. Thinking of you and your family. xxoo

My OB stopped doing HCG at 8 weeks, when it only had a slight rise when it was expected to be a lot more, she said she won't do anymore as from that point a scan is much more accurate than HCG levels.
Couch time is tough, spent a lot of time there myself, but it is so worth it in the end, we have a two story hosue and I found that having a green bag I would fill with things I would need to take upstairs that night, I could put in during the day then just do one trip rather than a few, little things to reduce the time on your feet :)
