hey everyone
i am new to the site and found it researching endo.
i am 19 and have just been told my fertility could be decreased due to my endo.
i am now considering starting a family with my partner of 4 and a bit years but am worried about what my mum will say as i am her only child who has gotten into uni.
i want to be a mum more than anything and would start TTC right now if it wasnt for other peoples opinions, i no its my decision but i care what my mum thinks
...my partner think we should just try and say it was a accident :shhh:

If it helps I know plenty of mums that study at uni. Uni will always be there to go to or study at part time. If your fertility is at risk and it is something that you really want to do then you are right - it is yours and your partners decision. (Your DP is right though- you could always say it was an accident if you are worried about your mums reaction) :) Good luck hun!

If its what you want and you are in a position to do it then go for it, but make sure you weigh up the pros and cons. I had my DD at 17 and i wouldnt change it for anything, i went back to TAFE for 1.5 yrs and i'm having another break to have DD#2. I think if its what you want then do it, with your endo it could take you some time to conceive anyway so in a way its best to get started now.

hi angeliz, i was just wondering when is it possible to find out if you're having twins?
I'm only 7 weeks pg at the moment but twins run on both sides of our family and it's out generations turn! so quite curious to see what's in store for us! ><;;

Hi Teagz, im sure when you have your 12wk u/s (if you have one) or your dating scan (if you need one) that you'll find out then.
I always wanted twins but after having Alyssa i dont think i could handle two at a time. lol

I always wanted twins too! Don't ask me why though! I have enough on my plate :)
2 close friends of mine recently had twins. 1 identical & 1 fraternal (the identical mum is a fraternal twin herself, the other's brother was a fraternal twin!)
One found out at 7 weeks & one at 5 months. Was sent for an emergency u/s when she measured way bigger for dates.
If you tell them there is a history of twins they will likely send you for an u/s asap to see.

Thanks Alysass! I do have a u/s this friday as requested by my dr as i've had some bleeding, although it has stopped in the last week, and i'm feeling alot less physically drained!! We're very excited about hearing the little heart beat though ^^;

Im 18 yrs old, DP is 21 and I am accidently pregnant, but very happy about it now lol :dance:. Always knew i'd be a young mum and looks like I was rite, DP on the other hand wanted to be 35 before he had his first, kinda runined his plans there. We've only been together 2 months, but sometimes you just know your meant to be with som1 and he's that someone. I started falling for him straight away, lust at first sight :lol: but love followed soon after. We plan to get married in 2 years time if all is well amongst us and we already have plans for another LO in 2 yrs time too, so I guess he's forgotten his plans already ;).

Hey Lara congrats! you sound like you are in the same boat as me! (but i've been with my partner 4 years!) When i found out i was preg it was a bit of a surprise! And we were planning a bit later as well, although i'm glad now that it has happened while I am younger.
There is a forum for those due in May 1st -15th if you would like to join! I think you're about that time frame, hey?

Congrats Lara, me and my DP were only together a month when i found out i was preg with DD#1 and this December makes 5yrs we've been together, im sure you guys will make great parents, my DP and I had the same attitude as you guys, i was 16 and he was 18 and neither of us were ready but we made it work and now we wouldnt have it any other way. Where bouts you from?

Im from the uk actually. Yer im due may 10th approx, havent had scan yet. Its great to hear the stories of other young couples coping, gives me reasurance :redface:. DP came down for the day on weds and stayed ova nite, he goes to uni in wales 250 miles away, we met whilst he was on his summer hols. He was really sweet and kept talking to my stomach, mostly saying be a boy! be a boy! I told him it was to late to tell bubs wat 2 be, but he couldnt be discouraged :lol:. xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I think I qualify as a soon to be young mum. I'm 21 and 29 weeks pregnant! my dp is 23 so we're both fairly young. We had a talk about children not long after we got together which seemed like a great coincidence as we found out we were expecting about 6 weeks after! As some of you have said, you just know sometimes that theyre the right person for you!
I saw somebody mention that there was a blue icon where you can get msn addresses, but I can't see one - maybe its something to do with using a mac! Anyway my msn is brunette01@hotmail.com if anyone would like to chat! x
