This time I am having the labor (God willing) that I want... no-one in the birthing suite except DP (if he makes it in time, as I have to be in Port Augusta 2 week before the birth because my last labor was only 6 hours long, and it's their protocol if you live on a station as far out as we do)
AND having a birth Plan, so If mumsie (who is about to be uninvited!) decides to 'help' during the last stage the midwifes should chuck her out!

Does anyone know if there are any Doula's in Port Augusta?

Also, do you think writing down my last experience for the midwifes to read (long before the labor! lol) would help them to understand what I went through last time and maybe it would be a bit easier? Or do you think a detailed birth plan would be enough?

Wow I am glad I am not alone. I got the same thing and it looks like we might be in the same belly buddies group when they open it. My family was the same way. We are keeping it off facebook until we are 12 weeks too..dont worry about them. be happy
