I was told at 38 weeks that bubs was already 3.2kg and putting on 200g a week. She was born at 39 weeks 5 days and weighed 3.33kg. So I guess either they were measuring big or her growth slowed down near the end thanks to my GD.

Well I was told dd2 was going to be HUGE! they redid GD tests and said she'd be close to 9-10 pounds, can't find the exact measurements.. Yeah well she was a whole of 3kg...

DS was dated at least 2 weeks ahead at every scan and 4 weeks ahead towards the end.
At 37wks+a few days I was told he was 4.2kgs.
He was born 38wks and 4.8kgs.
They said the same to a friend of mine with GD, panicked her about the baby's size. Her daughter ended up being 3.4kgs.. Don't know how much I'll pay attention if they do a sizing scan, there seems to be at least a 500-700g error margin, on top of the skill of hte person doing it.
I haven't had any dating scans yet, my OB has measured my belly and told me on spot on for growth, guess that means ok? LOL
At 34 weeks, DD was measuring right on average, nothing remarkable (maybe 2.5kg? Whatever the average is anyway)
She was born weighing 4.07kg, which is fairly well above average. Nobody expected it.
Thanks ladies - they seem to be a bit hit or miss, guess it's just luck of the draw.
