We concieved in our first month of trying as well, i hadnt ben on bcp for years as Ididnt like what it did to my body and after our wedding we stopped using condoms. I concieved 3 days after we got married....
For DD, we conceived the month before we started trying (we were about to start and she bet us to it!)
For DS, we conceive the second month - the first month we weren't really trying though as we had the wedding and honeymoon so were a bit preoccupied. Plus we were going to try the shettles methods for a boy, but when we didnt fall pg that first month, we just went for it!

Gav and I conceived in the first month of trying... didn't excpect it to happen that quick!!!!!
Jen had PCOS, so we knew TTC naturally was not gonna happen. 1st full set of IVF failed (July '04), 1st transfer of 2nd pickup was a success (July '05)
Mind you I didn't know about the PCOS until well after we had started the IVF treatment
PG #1 - 2 months (m/c)
PG #2 - 8 months (m/c)
PG #3 (Kynan) - 2 months with the help of clomid
We fell pregnant with Hendrix on our fifth month of trying.
Where's the 'we werent trying' option!! :)
I was on the pill, but antibiotics screwed it up I am guessing! 8-[
12 months of trying naturally with no luck and then another 12 months of IVF, we finally conceived pretty much 2 years to the day we started TTC.
For us it has been:
DD Ruby we conceived the first month of ttc
DS Finn we conceived the second month of ttc
DD Lucy we conceived the eighth month of ttc (I was starting to think she wasn't going to happen!) breastfeeding.
DD Eva conceived whilst I was breastfeeding and ttc for 3 months
DD Angel baby conceived whilst I was breastfeeding and ttc for 4 months
Angel baby conceived ttc for 5 months
I pray that I am back to the start and will conceive this month!
Love Deb
I was just thinking, it would be really interesting to see how old the women are.. It is supposed to be more difficult to fall pregnant the older you get. I see by the poll that 69 % of women conceived within 3 months. I wonder though what is the mean age of those women?
For me I voted the second option as on average I guess it has taken 4 months when you look at all of my pregnancy's.
What do you think? I am very interested to know as I am older!!!
Love to you all,
Deb
We were first month of trying as well - very surprised it happened so quick but very pleased as well. :) I concieved at age 31.
We are TTC#1, this will be our 5th month of trying......
We fell on the second month. I am 33 and have PCOS so we were worried that it would take us a while, so we were very pleasantly surprised. Well a little shocked at first to tell you the truth. 8-[
It took us 9 months.. :D
I am 29 and we are into our 10th month TTC #1. I have to say, I feel a bit envious of the 69% who conceived so quickly. 8-[
Took us 4 months, 3 of which using OPKs.
I'm 35. My doc said it is normal to take up to 12 months, anything over 2 years should be looked in to.
spare a thought for a girl I knew who's 22 and took her 2 years whilst on chlomid! Goes to show age isn't always the factor here!
we were not trying to get pregnant, and when I found out it was a real suprise ( a good one of course ) I was 21 I am guessing it took between 1 and 4 months to conceive, as we went to the gold coast for a holiday and I left my pill on my pillow at home ( it was no good there  ) and then I found out about 2 months latter that I was pg. Even though unexpected was the best little pressie ever
With my DD it was in my first month of TTC. But we were not expecting it to be that quick we had decided to start trying in Nov so that it would happen around Feb, so it was very exciting \:D/
