I don't know how much weight to give to these kinds of stats. If we had stopped at 2 children we would be one of the 'lucky' ones with 2 pgs and 2 live children. But we went for more and had an early m/c before having 2nd DD so we're now the 'other' statistic *shrug*
But fwiw we had 4 pgs and 3 live births.
8 pregnancies, 7 babies (2 very early prems) and 1 loss at 6weeks (number 7).
Three pregnancies and 3 beautiful children.

I am blessed. My sister is also two pregnancies for two healthy babes and we have talked before about how lucky we are that neither of us has lost a baby... she says lucky, I say blessed ;)

I am so thankful that I can hold four of my babies in my arms. My thoughts are with all the beautiful mums on here that have to hold some of their babies in their hearts
Not sure if you are counting terminations in this straw poll but 'loss' doesn't always mean miscarriage and the effects can be just as gut wrenching. The sad thing is that, in our society, even though abortion is decriminalized, most women would not admit to having had a termination lest they be judged. It's a loss that no one wants to know about.

I have been pg 4 times and have had 4 children. I am thankful every day for that.

I am asking the women of BB how many pregnancies VS live births they have had or if they were fortunate enough to have never experienced a loss. It's not up to me to decide what a loss is. I just threw the 1 in 4 statistic in there because I found it interesting.. TBH I don't really know what losses that statistic includes either.:

ETA: From what I can find from a quick google it's for miscarriage. So that only covers 1 aspect of loss.
My very first pregnancy was a termination :( DH and I had only been together a few months. Few years later, we try for a family and can't concieve. Life can be cruel that way. :hug: to anyone not ready to talk about that side of things. I am, and I always have a friendly ear open for anyone that needs it.:

1 angel at 19wks, 1 angel at 11wks and 1 chemical pg (positive POAS at 15dpo, then AF at 19dpo).
Then we were lucky enough to have 3 live full term births.

BAL, i wasn't having a go. Sorry if you thought I was!! I was just pointing out that 'loss' doesn't just relate to miscarriage and I wonder if some people might feel uncomfortable answering this question for that reason.

I too have terminated a pregnancy. DD was barely 3 months old when I conceived, but it was still a very difficult decision to make and I still sometimes wonder what might have been. But I am also happy to talk about it if anyone needs..:
So this one is pregnancy number 3 for me.
