At $15 for a tub of yoghurt, can you get a yoghurt machine (The one I have seen is EasyYo but I am sure there are a few out there.) I am sure someone could send you one, along with a starter kit of cultures, etc. I dont think they cost much.

Thanks very much for your kind offer. I do have an easy-yo. They charge about $8 for the sachets, so it is cheaper, but there is nothing like a creamy greek yoghurt! I find i just can't replicate that in my easy-yo..... got any tips??? Maybe i should try and get a culture... but not sure if i could bring a fresh one in....
I dont actually have an EasyYo (or any yoghurt maker actually!) but I know how you can thicken yoghurt so it is more creamy...
Basically put it in a clean tea towel/muslin square, etc, twist the whole thing into a ball, squeeze out excess water, tie it to a ruler/stick and then suspend it over a sink/bowl. Let it hang for a few hours (the longer the better) and every now and then untie it and give it a good squeeze again.
It is a little messy but the end result is worth it :) It tastes much richer and creamier.
I will check out prices of EasyYo sachets when next at the supermarket to see if it would work out cheaper to get you some here and post them.
Your diet sounds great! I guess all bodies do things differently, but I can understand your frustration! You are eating less than I am at the moment... lol
One of my gf's was here on the weekend and we got to talking about pg. She had her third baby 6 mths ago (she was 40 at the time). She was telling me she put on 20 kgs with both of her last two pgs - five years apart. You could not tell when you saw her!! She's worried she won't be able to hand over all of her maternity clothes to me (:crossfingers:) because she got so big.
I guess it just happens to some Mums. But yay on the no stretch marks!! :D Was that the same for each pg (I'm hoping...)?

Jen- at 42 weeks I got one tiny silver one under my belly button but that went soon after and no sign of any yet. I really think it's genetic as I've never put anything on, not even a moisturizer. :o you know I've jinxed myself now and I'll get 100 next week! I do have some silver ones on my hips from my teen years though..
I have visions of you smuggling cultures now :p
BTW when I got pregnant with DS1 I weighed 50kgs. When I was in the ante-natal ward I got bored and weighed myself. 75kgs!! I put on half my bodyweight :o
DS is 6 years old now so I can't use baby fat as an excuse anymore.
I could claim it was thrush treatment....... Did I just step over that line?!?!?!?

Same! DD1 was only 2.4kg so lbw, I was sooo disappointed in my body, turns out it was storing all that fat for itself and starving my poor baby. Maybe magnums are the way to go.:
