Thanks so very much everyone for your replies, I really appreciate all your kind thoughts and stories of happy endings. I tried to reply earlier, but our internet was down (well, Dad knocked the phone connection out we discovered).
The bleeding has slowed down significantly, there was still a bit of fresh blood this morning, but I have been lying down all day and there is not much now. Only when I go to the loo on the paper. I still don't know what to think, but I do have some hope. I have an appointment with my OB tomorrow afternoon, so I guess all I can do is to wait until then. I'm just so scared that all the bleeding will have meant the baby can't survive, and it will have died by tomorrow afternoon. I had myself all prepared yesterday for it to be bad news, and when it was good news I felt so happy, but now I feel like I'm that bit more attached to the baby and if it doesn't make it I'm going to be so much more upset. I guess you can't really prepare yourself for these things though.
We are staying with my Dad at the moment, and DH took today off work so they looked after DS and I lay down almost all day.
Just wishing and hoping that the little one makes it through :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Thanks again everyone.

Thinking of you.......best wishes. I had bleeding from week 4 - 16/17 of my pregnancy and I now have a 17 week old baby girl :) Mine was similar to yours, big gush and then only when I wiped. Over the weeks it changed heaps. It ended up being a subchrionic heamatoma (please excuse the spelling.) I was told that once you have seen the heartbeat the chance of a miscarriage is significantly reduced and I just kept telling myself that over and over. I will be praying for you and your little one - good luck!

 Sending you lots of sticky vibes xx
I haemorrhaged with DS1 at 16 weeks. It started off as a small amount and within an hour I had gone through 4 normal pads I knew something was up. My mum took me to the hospital (40ish min away) and by the time I had got there I had soaked my pad, pants and a towel which had been folded 3 times and onto the seat of the car. I literally left a trail from the car to the ED room. The Dr felt my tummy and said bluntly that I was miscarrying (he couldn't find a HB either) and I was taken to a room for observation overnight and several drips. I had to wait a week for an U/S (the earliest they could get me one) and it showed a very strong HB and one sticky baby. I bled quite heavily until roughly 22 weeks when it finally eased up and by 24-25ish week to just when wiping. And stopped completely by 25-26 weeks.
I hope that gives you some hope xx
