Jay Jay, where are you ??
I'm hoping all goes well for you hun. Fingers crossed you get to hear bubs little heart pounding away nicely.
Hi all, had a scan today..........and baba's heart was beating like mad.........and it was so active sonographer had difficulty catching up with it!:)
So happy and relieved, I have to admit my heart was in my mouth - but well worth it, I'm glad to say.:D
Thankyou all so much for your support, you have really helped us so much, more than you will ever realise....anyway, so far so good, all is well.....thankyou, thankyou and thankyou loads.
hope all is going well for you lot.........take good care of yourselves xx
Dr on the ward said that the brown 'blood staining' and clots will continue for another week or so more than likely, as there's so much 'old' blood to get rid of due to severity of initial haemorrhage.
Still have to take it easy, but glad to say, not as restricted as I have been of late, so that's a good thing. I can do 'light' housework, drive etc, but must not lift heavy objects etc, and intercourse is still banned for the time being.
Dr said its best to wait until bleeding stops completely, and even then 'gently' as the womb 'wobbles' about apparently when we make love, oh well I never knew that before...we learn something new every day, eh?!
Anyway most important thing of all is that baba is alive and well....phew what a relief.
Jay Jay, thats fantastic news sweety. I bet you are so very relieved.
Hopefully now you can get on with enjoying the rest of your pregnancy :D
Woo Hoo!! So glad to hear your great news! I bet you and DH slept a little better last night. I cried tears of joy when I heard Charlotte's HB after being told I'd lost her and I'm sure you did too. Big hugs to both you and your husband:hug:
Jayjay - So glad that all is well with your baby, it is such a relief when you get to see and hear your baby's HB. TC
so happy for you take care x x
JayJay... that's fantastic news!!!
Take care
Congrats Jay Jay
Fantastic Jay Jay - I hope the rest of your pregnancy is happy and easy! :)
that's fabulous news :)
Fantastic news JayJay, I'm so relieved and happy for you. Keep resting up and take care!
:Dthanks you lot, once again you are supporting us with your kind words.
Dh and I feel closer to you than we do to people who are meant to be 'close' to us-sil phoned this morning to talk to dh and she never even bothered to ask how baby was.
Feel so sad that we have no support around here, I know other people have things going on in their own lives, but surely it would n't have hurt her to ask about her little niece or nephew?
Anyway, thanks to you lot, and sorry for going on about sil's (and other peoples') lack of interest.
Yes dh and I slept through last night after so many nights of tossing and turning.
thanks all, tc. xx
Jay Jay thats great news
Fantastic news JJ..You poor thing having to go through that, it can be so scarey can't it.
All the best for the rest of your pregnancy
Jay Jay,
My MIL still hasn't asked me how I am after losing our baby and I even saw her today. Its all just 'fluffy' talk with her, I think its because she doesn't know what to say to me. Maybe that is your SIL's issue too... she didn't want to be told bad news or make you sad so she pretended nothing was amiss. Just keep on smiling with the thought that your baby is thriving inside of you when you feel ignored and of course chat here.
take care, Curl
Yeah, suppose it is difficult for people to know what to say in threatened/actual miscarriage isn't it.
I remember trying to comfort my close friend after she m/c, and I was so nervous I found myself saying all sorts of things..........it seemed the more I tried to say the 'right' thing, so as not to upset her even more, I ended up saying all the 'wrong' things.
Jay Jay,
How's things going now?
Curl
Hi there Curl, thanks for your post.
I'm glad to say that things are a lot calmer here now....it's just a tiny bit of old blood and a clot here and there - and some days there's nothing at all.
Have to admit, when I stopped bleeding completely mid-week, we made love, and after that the blood loss has returned.......only very slightly though...so hopefully all is well.:):wall:
Sorry not been on here for a while, please don't laugh, but if belly belly don't send me an email with a direct link to thread I'm after, then I am at a loss as to how to find my way round the site!
You don't happen to have a quick route on how to get to certain threads when I log in, so I don't havve to go all the way round the site, and end up getting lost?!!
Jay jay, good to hear that things have calmed down for you huni. I hope they continue to stay that way.
BB is easy enough to find you way around. You just need practice hun. I find that when I first come on I just click on New Posts at the top. That way I can check out what has been going on. Or if there is a particular thread I am after and I know where it is, I click on the Forum Jump at the bottom and find the section I am after.
HTH hun.
JayJay - I'm so glad things are sorting themselves out internally. I was frightened by renewed colour when DH and I resumed bd'ing after our 'scare' and at the dr's two weeks later I pushed the issue with her and I was told not to worry. Yeah right! Not worry, easier said than done. But as you know everything was okay with us and Charlotte is currently sleeping in her bed and I'm sure the same will be with you. I noticed that you're on one of the large family threads... what kind of car do you drive to fit all the kids in?
As for finding threads... I'm not laughing JayJay. Just experiment and see how you go, that's what I do. But, to get to threads that I've written in I click on my user profile at the top left of the screen, then click on subscribed threads and they're all there. I hope that helps you find what you're looking for.
Trish- nifty tip, thanks I'll use it too.
:DHi Curl,
So you had same experience when you and dh got up to mischief after the bleeding again...........I'm sure like us, you thought all would be ok, but its so scary to see blood again following day though isnt' it....aarrrgggghhhhh.
Anyway it seems to have settled down again now, hopefully anyway.
Yes i'm on large family thread as well, at the moment we get around by dh driving one land rover and me driving the other........but have looked at minibuses and am gonna get that in a few weeks times hopefully...or when we can find the money!
Thanks for the help in getting round the site and finding posts etc.
Take care xx
morning all.......phew, just got 3 eldest kids off to school...yipee! and another of our little uns will be going part time so she starts this afternoon...yes, yes, yes! Have to admit though, house is very quiet without them all at home.
Had a bit of a fright again this morning...more jelly like blood clots in bright red fresh blood, whatever that means....thing is though, dh and I 'got close' again last night  and it was very painful for me so don't know if that explains the bleeding....it might not be coming from inside the womb etc after all?
Anyway just checked again, and its gone....just playing cat and mouse all the time!
Anyway, hope all is well with you lot, i managed to find my way around pretty easily today with your know-how to help me along - thanks.
Take care all xx:)
