I've found some great comfy clothes - some long teh pants - so comfy!! Also just wearing DH's t-shirts, so hopefully it gets me through the rest of the pregnancy!!

I don't recommend their bras unless you're desperate...are much cheaper elsewhere.

just thought i'd pop in and say for those of you looking for leggings (long ones & short ones) in plus sizes, check out bump baby and beyond. i just bought a pair of RIPE Basic Ankle Maternity Leggings in XL and they are sooooo comfy and only cost $33.95!!

Hi everyone

Haven't had much of a chance to pop in before now but thank you for all your lovely congrats messages! Elliana is generally doing well. We had a bit of a backwards step when the hospital accidentally overfed her and her digestive system couldn't cope with it (cue LOTS of projectile vomitting and many, many pooey nappies) but that seems to have settled down. Now she has jaundice but tbh I'm not surprised given that its very common in premature babies so she has been under the lights for two days. I didn't get to go and see Ellie today but DH is just on his way home from there and said that she's really craving cuddles and attention so I'm hoping I will be able to have a good long cuddle tomorrow. I couldn't go tonight because I had the worst constipation ever. Long story short, i thought it would be a very, very bad idea to be away from a toilet (and I was right).

On the whole though, basically we've just got to do something about the jaundice (which is happening), put weight on because she was tiny at 1765g and so can't maintain her body heat and get her suck feeding. No other health problems at all, which is a huge relief. No idea when she'll be home but I spend a lot of time at the hospital these days. that said, I wasn't looking after myself at all so I think this forced day at home has actually done me the world of good both physically and mentally.

They decided last Friday to take her out because my blood levels for my PKU rose without explanation and there was a delay getting more results (and waiting isn't worth the risk of damage to the baby) plus a major drop off in movement and they weren't happy with her movement patterns etc under ultrasound. They also think that my waters might have broken, but only enough to trickle out very slowly... I honestly thought I was having incontinence issues but the ultrasound showed that in the space of a week my levels of fluid had more than halved. So... out she came.

Oh... thank you for the compliments re Cosmo Pregnancy Please keep in mind those pictures have been worked on! I noticed they airbrushed out my fat rolls, given my chin/face a little help and also changed the shape of my bump in the big picture so... you know. Annoys me a bit because its not accurate but at the same time I do prefer the edited versions lol. Its more the discomfort that makes me so down on myself but I'm over it atm... really just don't care, my little girl is my world right now and the rest will come in time

For anyone thinking about buying feeding singlets... I got two Loveable ones over the internet... I don't recommend them unless you're happy to wear a bra underneath them. Not supportive at all, I feel like my breasts are falling out from under them a bit even though the singlet is big enough to accommodate me there and the 'flattering' cut isn't actually that flattering. Sizing is generous but the tummy area which is meant to be loose is still clingy. I get the feeling it wasn't designed on a post baby belly but a normal, flat belly! They aren't bad for sleeping though. I've slobbed around the house in one all day today.

I am currently 97ish kg's and almost 5wks, I was dieting at the beginning of the month and didn't lose any weight at all (because whattaya know ... I was UTD! LOL) so I will DEF hit the 100ish kg's . Im already BUSTING out of my jeans/work pants (stretchy skirts here we come!) I was browsing online yesterday at the maternity clothes via various sites and could not believe the prices! I might have to buy 2nd hand clothes rom Ebay or something, because I wont be in them for that long then I can pass them on to someone that will need them too ...

Im still early days, but I've had to buy a belly belt thingymajig to open my pants up at the button area. I dont go back to work for a few weeks yet, so Im def going to put on weight by that time!

Any suggestions on where to find nice 2nd hand clothes online other than ebay?

Re the singets I got a target maternity one and same thing, must wear bra! Very comfy tho.
