Hi Jess and welcome! :hug: Try not to be scared - I know it's so hard not to be because I felt the same when I was in labour with my first baby and I even told my DH that I was scared, but then I thought to myself Here I am, about to cross the threshold into something that is truly amazing. My body is about to give birth to a baby that I grew and women have been doing it for thousands of years and if they could, then so could I. I surrendered to that thought and only a few hours later my son was in my arms.
So don't let the fear hold you back because once you let it go and embrace what is about to happen, labour will start and he will be in your arms soon.

Very normal to feel nervous, it sounds like you have wonderful support from your mum.

Welcome Jess, you are lucky to have your beautiful mum to support you. I hope he hurries up and comes, its always horrible to have to wait isn't it? I know you are scared but you will be fine, you have an awesome support team who love you!

It is perfectly normal to be nervous, I agree about trying to let yourself be at peace with it though. If your feeling a bit overwhelmed or stressed a big cry can help. Otherwise just try to trust in yourself and your baby that he will come when he's ready. :hug:
I've only just seen this thread. Hope things are going well or have gone well :) You may already be holding the new love of your life :D I should check the BAs!

Much support to you Jess and Barney as you start your journey as mummy and grandmother. I am sure as with all of us, it may have its challenges, but rest in the knowing that you have the ability to meet whatever faces you.
