did u see ur OB last night? how did the CTG go?
No, didnt go in. The agreement was that if the tightenings became stronger and more frequent last night I would go in to hospt around 8-9pm. Instead they got less frequent and intense! If they had settled down I was to stay home and ring in this am. Bubs still active so thats all ok. Rang OBs rooms and spoke with my MW this am and she was disappointing for me and said to ring again when they started up again.
Last night I was just over it! Got to have a reasonable sleep and was only woken about four times with strong ones, so feeling a bit better today.
I have decided not to time them today. I will just be aware if they are needing more or less of my attention and take it from there. DH is here again today to do the shopping and housework and chase DS for me! I have been lying in the sun reading and doing coffee with my sister in a funky new cafe nearby - very nice.
Ooooo it is oh so very exciting - wanna trade places? i will go thru it all for you! hehehe
Yes it is exciting. And I have never been this far along before or been in a position to welcome contractions - with DS it was too early and he was very sick. This is our last baby so I am still enjoying being pg but keen to meet this bub and avoid a section! Its pretty awesome being on the cusp of it all kicking off and yet not knowing if it will happen today or sometime next week! Mind you if it does happen today then I wont get to see that sexy acupuncturist again!
I had a S&S with #5 and found it a little painful and uncomfortable, but not unbearable in any way. I had a show that afternoon after the doc did the S&S and had her the next day after a 3 hour labour. I was 9 days early and my labour was easy.
All the best with the VBAC and I hope you will be holding your lil one in your arms real soon.
With all this lovely weather coming up in the next two days I say go for some lovely long walks after seeing your hot accupunctuarist ;)
