What age were you when...

DD1 preg 18 she was due after my 19th birthday but came 6 weeks early!
DS1 preg 20 gave birth when i was 21 (best 21st pressie!)
DD2 preg the month I turned 24 and gave birth at age 24!
:) So had a baby when i was 18, 21 and 24!

Well I can beat you in the 'old-first-timer' stakes Nai & Rufalina:

Pregnant at 34 and will be 35 at birth.
This baby is in danger of 'crashing' DP's 30th tho! I think we'll postpone the big party by about a month......

I'm going to lift the average age in this thread too

DS1 - preg at 35 born at 36.

I'll be at least 37 before we TTC #2

I fell pregnant around about the same time as my 22nd birthday, and she was born when I was 22.

DS #1 pregnant at 25 birthed at 26
DS #2 pregnant at 26 birthed at 27

DD pregnant at 38 and born at 38.

Hopefully another one, but won't be born until I'm at least 40.

Felt better after doing my family tree though and seeing how many of my ancestors gave birth close to 40 or even 44 in one case (and that was 200 years ago!)

DD#1 - preg 27 - birthed 28
DD#2 - preg 30 - birthed 30
DD#3 - preg 31 - birthed 32
#4 - preg 33 - will birth at 34.....

DD1 - pregnant and gave birth at 27
Bubba #2 - pregnant and will give birth at 29 (well, unless this one decides to be 3 weeks late in which case it might be born on my 30th. Highly unlikely, though)

Funny, when I first fell pregnant with DD, I felt like a really young mum. None of my high school friends was even married, not even engaged. And no kids either. I almost felt awkward telling my parents that I was gonna be a mum as I felt too young (DD was very much planned and wanted, though). My mum said to me: don't kid yourself, you're not THAT young anymore. She had me not long after she turned 29.
After reading this thread, I'm feeling like an old mum, not a young one :)

I fell pregnant at 19, and I'm 20 now and bub is due in 3 and a bit weeks!! :dance:
And I thought I was out of the norm having a bubby so young! Next one will not be for at least another 4 years though (well that's the plan!)

I feel old....... yet my age for falling pregnant for the first time was the average age.

DS#1 fell pregnant at 30 (had only just turned 30 by a matter of weeks), had him at 30.
DS#2 fell pregnant at 31, had him at 32 (turned 32, five weeks before I had him).
DS#3 fell pregnant at (gee how old am I LOL) 34 and I`ll birth him at 34. (I`ll be just 2 weeks short of turning 35.

pregnant at 32 and will still be 32 when he arrives.

Technically - 24 when I fell pregnant (but didn't know it yet) will give birth when I am 25 (if this baby ever comes out!

Pregnant at 29 - birthed at 30
Pregnant at 31 - birthed at 32
Pregnant at 33 - due to give birth at 34

As you can see my 30's have been my baby making years!!!!

Pregnant at 21, birthed at 22. Young mum but wouldnt have it any other way.

Well I am definitely at the older end of the scale for a first time mum - but that has a lot to do with having to have IVF/ICSI to fall pregnant.

So I fell pregnant for the very first time ever at the ripe old age of 36. I am now 37 and bubs is due in 6 weeks. I have waited such a long time for this miracle!
