Oh, I am so happy to read this Dusty, it's just lovely and I am so pleased for you. I think so often we hear how hard it is to be a mum, especially at the start, how much work etc, it's nice to also hear the really wonderful side to it all. As you know, I am yet to make it to parenthood, and sometimes I am scared that after wanting something so much I won't be good at it, or it won't be as I imagine etc, so it's great to read a post like this . hugs x

Awwwww that's beautiful. I'm now going to rush off to pick up my DD from preschool and give her the biggest cuddle ever!!
I love it when I kiss her goodnight before I go to bed and I look at her sleeping and just want to scoop her up and snuggle with her all night. If she wasn't getting so heavy...!

Thats wonderful Dusty. You're not alone when it comes to not falling in love with your bubba instantly. I think it was about the 3 month mark with DD that it happened for me. Becoming a parent is such an overwhelming thing. Not to mention adding the massive journey that you've been on into the mix.
FWIW with DS it was completely different. I had an instant connection with him. I think the journey I had with DD certainly paved the way for this :)
