Yup. 165cm tall, and 104cm around my belly. Feels enormous and very stretched, but everyone is so different aren't they?
Hi everyone. Once again, have been reading and lurking but not posting much.
Welcome to Krikkit and Bridget. It is really nerve-wracking that first trimester, combine with the pregnancy hormones, it can be one heck of a ride. All the best to you both.
Congrats to the fantastic births (MHB and Mels)...have we heard from JenC????
Grub - I sympathise with the being over it and the back pain. I have had back pain since about week 20, I'm sort of used to it now and have so many other things to complain about that I don't even mention it anymore! Swimming does help though, I just find it hard to physically get to the pool!
Murph - naughty doggy! Got too excited by the sounds of it. Charlie has expensive taste!
Smithy - Good luck with the scan!!!!! How exciting.
Saph - You poor thing, hope you get some relief soon.
Greenslw - Drama about the bed! Glad tou got your old one re-instated to get you through.
Hey to everyone and anyone that I have missed.
AFM: Well, no obvious progress on the nursery front. I feel okay only because he is working hard, I just hope he knows what he is doing. Because he has emptied one room out to re-pack it with shelving, the rest of the house is now worse than ever with junk everywhere (he assures me it is all going back in, but when???). This morning, I can hardly open the fridge to get milk out of the door. I have offered to help, but he says that he is fine. I keep reminding him that the baby really could come any day and we need to have he cot set up etc. Frustrating. I am just doing little bits that I can, which is not much, because there is no room, and it is all heavy stuff. I could wash all the baby's things, but there is nowhere to pack them away, so still in garbage bags for now. I am just praying that he doesn't come early.
I am on maternity leave now. YAY!!!!! Again, feel pretty useless, but really need to rest now. Have got terrible swelling in my hands and think I have carpal tunnel syndrome in the right, so that is very uncomfortable. I will see the midwives on Wednesday and see what they say.
:bellyrubs::bellyrubs: to all

:hello: lovely ladies!
Hope everyone is well!
Neptune:  hun, I really feel for you right now and hoping you get a good outcome from this.
:welcome: Krikkit! Hang in there hun, try and enjoy every day you have together with your little one. A positive attitude will really help, as will keeping yourself insanely busy so the time flies LOL. Wishing you a H & H 8 months! We've all been where you are so feel free to rant and rave and vent all you like! That's what we're here for.
Murph & Grub: Don't let us interrupt, would the two of you like a room??? You guys crack me up! Oh and i say forget the beer and wine, go the pina coladas on the beach!
Smithy: Hilarious! Can't argue with kiddiwinks, they always get it right. Good luck with enetering Doodey or Bagina-ville! Thinking of you today hun!
AFM: can't remember my last post (damn baby brain) so sorry if I repeat a few things. Scan last Thurs, all good, got some cute pics although we could still only see the top half of Cookie, apparently I have a retroverted uterus which makes it harder to see??? My Mum came with me and I have never seen her get excited about anything but man she was nearly jumping out of her chair! Anyway we're still exactly on track, no change of dates (nope that's right I stick to schedule, how me!) So due date is 08/04/10. Murph, Could you please update our Little Cookie's date on the list? And it's an orange surprise all the way for us :-) Thanks hun.
So Christening and Wedding went well, and I can't remember who mentioned about the pg-friendly food, but thankyou, I'm glad you did. I made sure I ate well beforehand and it was lucky cause there wasn't a lot of options. Lots of reheated and left out foods, wasn't game enough to risk it. But I tell ya, if one more person asked me "how many" I was having I was gonna cry! I am really HUUUUGE already, and with the 32 degree heat I was a little fluidy & swollen on top of that. Trying to work out how to upload my belly pic. I too thought for curiosity's sake I would measure my belly (thanks Kel LOL)... I'm 156cm tall and my belly is 108cm ... at 10 weeks OMG! Admittedly I was a little bigger to begin with, a size 12/14 but this is just plain freaky LOL.
And finally in good news, DH has been AMAZING of late! He's been really nice, not nagging or arguing, rubbing my feet, patting my belly and giving me lots of cuddles, which is sooo not like him, and when I ask "what was that for?" he says "because this is what I should be doing. I'm looking after you" awwww I tell ya I melted. Man if I'd known he was gonna be this nice I would have gotten knocked up years ago
Anyway enough droning on for me. Thinking of you all and hoping you are all baking away nicely. Looking forward to the next "POP!" Who's it gonna be???
-
 All you girls crack me up. I wondered how many would get the measuring tape out as well although it seems BOC may win the day in the end, but doesn't it give you a reality check as to how big your belly can actually stretch.
Krikkit: Congrats on getting your BFP . Those feelings you have are normal for us AC girls but just wait before you know it m/s will kick in and then you will definately know you have a bubba growing inside.
Smithy: 1 more sleep girl for pink or blue. Do your girls want another sister or are they craving for a brother? I can't wait to hear..
Murph:  Jazzy flips soon for you. When mine turned at 26 weeks it was really painful, I couldn't imagine her trying to turn now there is just no room.
Grub: Hope you get some relief soon for your back.. sounds very ouchy...
Murph & Grub: Oh you both make me dream of walking along a beach in the sun and BOC's idea of the Pina Colada would be heaven. You all make me now want to make a special trip to the beach but it is still too cold here at the moment to even think about that.
Neptune:  yay for Maternity Leave. I hope DH can get some things organised for you soon so you can get some time in getting everything ready for bubs imminent arrival before you are just too knackered to do anything.
To all our other girls, I'm thinking of you all growing away nicely.

KellyD: Just thought I'd let you know I'll be happy to take a wander down to the beach on your behalf... after all it's only 200m from my back gate... just thought I'd rub that in *insert evil laugh here*
Have a great day ladies! Oooh Smithy so excited for you today!!!

-
Smithy I just got into your piczo site hun, no problems!
-
;) OH BOC THANKS HUN FOR THAT YEP MUST BE MY SILLY COMPUTER THEN .ill get dh to fix it later
-
Grub - thank for the swimmiing tip, but my exercise is actually restricted. At the monment I am allowed to go to the pools and stand in the heated water to take some weight off my pelvis. They have also found another issue. I have a hairline fracture to the right of the joint in my pelvis. Thanks to Campbells hard head. A few weeks ago he was sitting between my legs and threw himself backwards to lie down and hit me with his head on my pelvis. It hurt like hell at the time but as you do with small kids you just grin and bear it. Management is still the same so just trying to behave and do as little as possible. Thank god for the MS or my measurements would be maing you all jealous. LOL
-
wow boc you look fabulous! i started showing about 11/12weeks but you are showing a little more than i did. are you enjoying your new-found belly?
oh saph, i'm really sorry to hear you are having horrid time of it! and naughty little campbell, but like you said, he didn't know. I hit my fanny bone on a desk at school once and it was excruitating... unfortunately my BFF was siting at the desk and nearly wet herself laughing at my face (poor jayjay smashed on the sharp corner... long story). so i winced when you said about the hairline fracture. I hope you get some relief soon love.
i am lurving the ****tails over the beer... but really really want beer atm! can't wait to have my body back... no more ivf, needles, tests, and preggy discomfort! I've already ordered a shandy for christmas day lol... and a bacon and egg roll with runny runny egg... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
good luck tomoz smithy :)
good news, got into a lady for a preggy masage tomorrow. phew. that'll be lovely... have by GD test in the morn too... was supposed to have in on sat but the nurse didn't bother showing up at the clinic, which is a good 30min drive away. so anyway they have guaranteed me that someone will be there tomorrow.
on a few days off now thankfully and my SIL is coming for a quick visit... really looking forward to spending time with her and DH and forgetting about work for 2 days.
will pop in tomoz sometime... stalking for smthy's result and hopefully we'll hear from jen soon!

Hi ladies,
This is my second time posting I lost my post this morning was so annoyed as I was finished grrrrrrrrr stinky computer.:doh:
Ok so here we go again scan went better then expected the little man flow to and from cord is a bit better so we are going to sit on it as my OB put had put it. I know everyday in my tummy is one less day in NICU which great but I just felt like I had a plan and now I have to wait again not knowing what is going to happen untill my next scan. I know I shouldn't feel like this but hossy life is driving me abit nutty I keep telling myself its not forever and I will be home with my little family soon. Anyhoo winge over.
I have also ask if I could get a pass out of hospital on the 25th as it is my DD 2nd birthday depending on what the boys are up to of cause and my OB said she can't see why not as I will be 32 weeks by then im so excited.
Kelly yes there is a NICU here but I had to move here from the other hossy when I got contractions as they only have nurseries for 34 weeks and up babies.
Saph just reading it makes me want to cross my legs ouch, I hope it heals soon.
Grub a pregie massage sound fantastic I hope its nice and relaxing for you I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you hoping you dont get GD. I have sciatica as well but find it worst when I sit in a hard chair oooh it really hurts ouch.
Smithy can't wait to here your news pink or blue
Kirkit Welcome thats great news I hope your pregnancy is a happy and healthy one and I also hope your 12 weeks are stress free but we have all been there and have all been through different experiences so ask as much question as you like im sure one of us has had the same concerns.
Neptune yah for the maternity leave I hope you can relax even though you want to do your nursery it must be frustrating not been able to move things around but try and put your feet up as much as you can and tell your DH to get his A into G so you don't have to.
Hi BOC im so going to check you belly out.
Bridget I can totally understand why you would be nervious about your scan I hope it all goes well for you and your DH can't wait to hear your news.
:hello: Murph and Missmagpie we haven't heard from Jenc in the twin thread yet but im sre once she has time TIME being the word she will let us know I can wait to hear all about it.
I hope I got everyone sorry if I didn't keep baking your babies.

Hi Everyone
Just a quick one to let you know that Noah was born by emergency C Section on Sunday due to antepartum haemorrhage. Luckily Kim was already in hospital because she woke up the Tuesday prior with a small bleed so she was admitted. Then they discovered that Noah was small for dates. Everyone is well, Noah is in NICU but he is a TROOPER!!! Born at 27+4 weeks, 750gms (or 1pound 10 ounces)!!!!!!!!
I have to run because i have to make it to the hospital by 5.30pm to see him without the Cpap on for his bath!
