second half monnie!
Cool...that's what I wanted to hear Danni!!!
Actually...I've found (after the first few weeks when it felt like I was counting the hours, that it has gone fairly quickly!)
One other quick question Danni...I noticed you are selling off your MCN's. I'm still not totally decided as to whether MCN or not...can I ask what your reasons were not to?(purely out of interest...not criticism!!!)
Cheers!
Kar.. Hester is just the best.. what a little sweetie....
Yep we are off to London, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Paris, Northern France, New York, LA, Maui and Honolulu.....
We will be away for sometime.. however, I will be back just in time for Janos bub, but she might go early... I will pop in from time to time whilst away... leis x
Have a fantatic trip Leis!
I'm sure it will be amazing!
I hope Junior is early so you dont miss his announcement Leis :D
Sorry Mon, Just saw this now!:

Well.....I think I had high expectations of myself. But when I really sat down and thought about it, I am a lazy enough person as it is, without having to add washing nappies on my list of things to do.
However, we are on a very tight budget, so if I found we are spending too much money on nappies, I may resort back. But basically it was the extra workload that turned me off.
Yeah...I totally understand Danni...
I'm still not sure what to do...think I need to think about it longer!
I just can't believe you have only 7 weeks to go...that must be so exciting.
I remember when I first joined up to BB...you were the first LT TTC-er that I saw announce their pregnancy...it gave me alot of hope!!!
yes i did get my bfp in august :D
Yes i am very excited Missy-- no words can explain how i feel right now!
Danni and Monnie - I had such good intentions about using cloth nappies with Hester from as soon as we got home from hospital - but with all the feeding problems - it was just too much to try and get cloth on her. I'm slowly starting now. Sposies are definitely a better fit on newborns. Hester just "swims" in a terry flat.
Yeah...I was wondering about that Kar...
I was thinking of perhaps using sposies in the beginning...and then moving onto MCN when they fit a bit better...
How are you doing since being home?
yep Mon, thats what i was going to do. Especially with the first few days of yucky poos.
I actually used a combo of sposies and MCNs for when C was a newborn, only coz he went through so many nappies! Sposies for outtings, and MCNs for home. But DH hated clothies, and when C grew out of his newborn sizes, we gave MCNs up altogether. Sposies are more convenient, but dang they look cute in the really funky MCNs!
Just butting in to say:
Think carefully about selling the cloth Danni! I had every intention of clothing bub when he was born but with moving and me not being the best housewife I decided to go sposie.
In the meantime we've spent 4 times the amount we would have clothing him and washing a load of nappies everyday. So now I have invested in cloth and #2 will def being going cloth as well.
Just wanted to give you a point of view from a sposie-gone-clother :)
thanks anna.....a bfp???? :D
Hey Anna
Oh...how exciting!
I noticed on your great website that Jett was born at Mercy in Mt Lawley...
That's where I'm going...I'm with Dr Chau...
How did you find it? Any tips?
Cheers!
Hi everyone
How is everyone gestating? I am feeling human again. The long weekend down here was a godsend and I had a break on Friday as well, very nice. I also found out what my horrible headaches were, turns out I had a sinus infection and I have been feeling much better since the dr gave me antibiotics to take.
I can't believe you are next and then me Danni, very scary.
When is everyone taking maternity leave? I am scheduled to finish at 33 weeks and I keep getting really negative responses from people, apparently the done thing at my work is to keep going until you drop. So now I am feeling really guilty, oh well I am sure I will get over it once I can stay in bed on a cold morning until bubs is born.
Monnie - when are you having your 19 week scan? It's very exciting isn't it
So glad your headaches have gone Jane!
I took maternity leave from 24 weeks and although its been a bit tough financially, I am loving it.
If you can afford to leave then, then do it! You will thank me later :)
