Bel  sweet I hope the pain eases soon xx
Bel, hoping you are feeling better soon.
AFM, going for 11 week bloods today in order to get ready for 12 week scan which is in 6 sleeps time...woo hoo.. my June Bug is still growing strong.
Will try and catch up a bit latter but I guess work is paying me to do something today ;)
Bel - you poor thing! Here's hoping you feel better really soon.
Nicole - wow I can't believe that you are almost at your 12 week scan! That seems to have flown by (I'm sure it hasn't felt like that from your end). You will love it - and finally being able to tell everyone is just the most exicting time. Enjoy every moment of it hun.
TL - must not be long until your 20 week scan now either!
Hi to all and lots of :bellyrubs:

morning ladies!
Bel - you might find the swelling from your ovaries is the only reason you're uncomfy - as your bubba grow, there is less pain for that swelling. i didn't technically have OHSS, but my right ovary was hugely swollen and even now if i lay on my right hand side, it hurts. and when my bladder is full - ouchies! hopefully the scan tomorrow will tell you more. given you have had the OHSS it might take a while to settle down. be prepared to put yourself ahead of work no matter what. i can understand the desire to do the right thing, but ultimately, your health has to come first
AFM - i'm now on day five of feeling human - and it's scary! went from feeling like death warmed up on Saturday, to OK sunday (11 weeks) and have been tolerable since. not ms free by any means, but ok enough to feel like i can actually do some things. the heat isn't playing nice with me - have almost fainted a couple of times - and tomorrow i'm getting air cons installed to save me getting to that point again. frightened me - but more than that, it scared DH. he came home late last night, and got the air cons out of storage, and is hoping to be home tonight to move stuff so that i don't have to do anything in the morning. he's such a sweetie!
went to first antenatal appointment on Monday, then out for dinner at my bro's place - survived!!! was exhausted, but i made it without tears, without falling in a heap with ms - was really nice! my bro is very excited about having HIS first niece or nephew come into the world - his wife has 6 brothers, most of them have kids, so she has heaps - but this is the first one related to him by blood - and he's so very excited. he got drunk on Monday night with DH to finally celebrate the Gremlin (he's been reluctant in case something went wrong) - and apparently the conversation took some twists i wasn't expecting. i went out to the shed to get ready to leave, to be told i'd never have to attend an appointment alone if DH couldn't make it as my bro (self employed) would put off work to take me. he'd sit in the scans and be there for moral support for me. it wasn't something i expected from my bro - but it had me in tears of gratitude!
Am off to have routine serology scans today, and i think the doc put in a request for a urine test as well. not looking forward to going out in the heat, but it has to be done - will go to my mum's afterward and chill in front of her air con for a while....
Hi Everyone -
I have been travelling for work this week and now stuck in Perth airport with my flight delayed for 2+ hours - argh !!!!
Bel - hope your pain eases and you can get some relief from it. We had our 6 week scan on Tuesday and I too was overwhelmed to see the heartbeat, DH and I both had tears streaming down our faces - was not expecting it to be so impactful.
Kahlan - hope your assignments are going well
HM - hope you are feeling okay and getting enough sleep
BriggysGirl - good luck for your upcoming tests - I'm sure you are counting the days for MS to go away. Stay cool !
Nicole - 12 week scan - how exciting to be reaching another milestone in this incredible journey
Janie, Nixon, TL, Curlygirl and anyone else I might have missed - hope you are doing well and sending you :bellyrubs:
AFM - had our 6 week 2 day scan on Tuesday and saw the heartbeat, it was a clear as day on the monitor - what an experience. FS could not see any cause for the spotting which was a relief. Am feeling ok, very mild MS , tender BB but generally pretty good.
Has anyone noticed that the BB tenderness comes and goes? Some days it is very noticeable and then it eases off only to come back again??
Take care everyone,
LNB
BB pain here comes and goes all the time - and when it DOES visit, it visits with a vengeance - enough to take my breath away sometimes. i'm not sure if it's like that for everyone, or whether it's more intense cos i'm a busty wench...
Thanks Janine and LNB - Yep just 4 sleeps to 20 week scan I can't wait to see bubs again :cheer:
Buliej - I am so sorry for your loss, take some time to recover, a loss is a very big thing.
I am so sorry that you had to experience this.
take care
Hi everyone
Sorry it has to be a quick one as its late and I feel tired.
Shannon - good luck tomorrow with meeting your twins. Hope everything goes smoothly!
Nicole we have the 12 week scan on the same day. I am quite nervous about it, but excited at the same time. I prey that it all goes well get to see a perfect baby in there!
BG I am glad MS is starting to settle a little. My nausia has also settled the last few days. I guess there is some truth to the text books, they all say your Nausia/MS should start to get better.
Hi to everyone else, hope you are doing well.
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to say Hi and hope you all have a happy Friday.
X
Just a quick post wishing you all a Great Weekend.
Am off to the cricket for work today in the corporate box which should be loads of fun even though no drinking for me and June Bug but I don't mind.
Blood test went well although after soooo many this year I stil hate them!!

I want to wish everyone here good luck. I've spent a lot of time this past week looking at everyone's signature and thinking about the long and hard journey so many of the posters have gone through to get here. I hope all of you end up with happy and healthy babies!
Hi everyone, Thanks LNB...yep sleeping quite well actually and afternoon naps to boot. I don't normally sleep well in the arvos and then at night. Last night was a bit mad...we told mum and dad we were pg and it was a very restless night of nerves and emotion. They were thrilled and so so surprised. i think they had kind of given up on it bless them...so it was a lovely gift to tell them.
Hi girls, hope the bellies are growing...will get a chance for personals in a week or so.
Lovve to you all and GOOD LUCK to Shannon...thinking of you babe.
Thinking of you today, Shannon. How exciting that you're about to meet your babies! Can't wait to hear your birth story.
Sorry I've fallen off the ends of the earth a bit girls, I'm going to start trying to post a bit more from now on.
