Kotare, congrats on the little man....
Wow, Sazz, that is amazing that you have such a little tennis player in there, I bet s/he is practicing.....
2nd trimester is so good Lismith, you can really feel the difference, I am so much more active and the relief from the nausea is the best.
Jo, good on you girl for getting yourself all organised….. I too am intending on getting a full wax, get my hair re coloured few weeks before the due date….. very proud of you girl.
Monnie, glad you popped in to say hi and tell us about Felix…..he sounds just divine.
Ktgirl, sore bobbies will gradually get better, well it did for me, I think around the 11 week mark.
Well nothing more for me, just concentrating on studying for exams….

Mako- can not wait to hear your birth announcement!
Ktgirl _ welcome you are due a couple of days after me. I also had two embies transfered so we both might be in for double the joy!!
Big HELLO to everyone else out there.
Feeling like crap this week and yesterday was the worst. I felt like spewing from the moment I got up until I feel asleep at 5pm last night! ....But I love it!!
Take care

AAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHH - so very excited Mako is a mummy and has been for a few days now. Well done, well done, hope all is well for you, DH and your precious new arrival, can't wait to hear about it all.
Thanks again everyone for their well wishes and reassurances...the tears and hormones have really settled and we've ended up having a great week.
Ltl Panda and Kotare i'm with you on the DH response to feeling movements. Our little one seems to already have sleep and wake patterns (if only she sticks to them after the birth!), but because of it, DH has been feeling her pretty much since 2-3 days after i was certain it was her. He oh's and ah's at big ones too like i might have missed it. I love just watching my belly jump too, it cracks me up.
Has everyone's DH adopted the plural questions...mine has now become accustomed to asking 'how are my 2 girls?' and 'how is my baby and my other baby doing?' It's really lovely.
Ktgirl - hello and BIG CONGRAT's to you, can't wait to hear all about your pg journey, and you know that's what's so awesome in here, each is so different, and yet so similar.
DJTCC...whats the count down now?? So exciting, your like the elder now hey! Not long till you'll be in here with a birth announcement. And what an organisation extravaganza, i am taking notes you're so on the ball! (Good to know the waxing can continue LOL, to be honest though i wasn't game to ask my beautician if there will come a time she'll tell me i need to stop!)
Well, there's a storm and a half outside and we've already had a blackout today, so hello to everyone else, but i'm going off line just incase. Take Care
-
Sazz - I know what you mean about wanting to show EVERYONE the movements, I think my family must be sick & tired of seeing my tummy by now, lol. (it's just so much fun though).
Kotare - Congratulations on finding out your having a precious little boy.
My Dh & I were the same in that it really didn't matter what we were having but it does feel different when you know, it's kinda like they have a real identity & seem even more so real (just in my opinion).
Monnie - so happy to hear you & Felix are doing well & I'm glad you still pop in because we do think of how you're going.
How is your Dh coping with a new baby?
Ltl Panda - I had my bikini wax today & let me just say i'm glad I didn't get a brazilian.
It was very ouchy, apparently a lot of women are more sensitive to being waxed when they are pg & there is no way I would have been able to lay down for any longer than it took (15 minutes).
I must say though I do feel a lot fresher even if it is just a bikini wax.
Zap - hope you feel better soon.
Kimbe - my Dh also does the plural thing & it is sooooooooo cute, especially when he's usually a tough blokey guy (that has certainly changed).
So I have been feeling like crap most of the week, I don't know if I'm coming down with something or it's just all the hormones getting ready for the birth, I will have to ask dr tomorrow when I see him.
I must say I feel quite special with you all thinking I am organised, I guess being told bub could come anyday was a huge wake up call I needed although I must admit I am starting to feel quite tired now.

Hey Jo
Yeah...Felix is just a delight...he has the cutest smile! I've finally got around to adding some photos to the photo gallery!
Re. DH...to be honest...the first few weeks were pretty tough for him...Felix really wasn't that interactive with him and DH felt much like a 5th wheel...but in the last few weeks, this has changed hugely. Felix is so much more interactive (and interested in people not just their mammary glands!) and DH and Felix have had some really beautiful times...
DH is great with him...changes nappies and does the bathing...and occasionally gives him a bottle of expressed milk.
You have so much to look forward to! Really enjoy the last few weeks (days, hours) as life certainly does change once baby arrives. It's a wonderful change...but it's definitely a change!
-
Monnie - I just had a look at the photos. Your little man is such a spunk. Give him a big kiss for me!!!
Zap - Thats cool that we are only a few days apart. When are you going for your scan?
Kimbe - Hi and thanks for your welcome. Hope the storm wasn't too bad at your place last night. My DH asks how his two babies are going as well and I keep reminding him it might be his three babies lol.
Ltl Panda - Good luck with your exams. Thanks for letting me know about when the sore boobs stopped for you. I don't mind too much it keeps me reassured as well as the feeling sick that everything is going ok.
Morning everyone else.
-
woke up this morning with the worst cramp in my calf, it still hurts now.....ouch.
-
Hi all,
Some time up my sleeve to sneak in a few personals.
Monnie Thanks for still dropping in - great to hear how you are going and also that Felix and DH are starting to have a bit of interaction. Your new av is great too :)
Jo Yeh, i agree with what you said about the sex - he feels a little more real. Although i'd feel more confident if i'd actually seen the proof myself!
Ltl Panda Weird - i am having crazy legs cramps every night while i sleep. I was actully going to ask the Ob if it has something to do with my sleep positions. No more tummy sleeping here, sadly.
Kimbe Glad to hear you had a good week, even if there is a storm brewing. DH does the plural thing too - i LOVE it. Too cute. And we have a puppy too, so he calls us all his little babies. Sometimes he tries to talk to my tummy too - but with my sister as house guest we feel a bit weird sometimes...she's not in the least bit interested.
Welcome to the new girls (zap and ktgirl) - and i know of at least one other who just got a BFP but is in hiding until her scan. Good luck with your first few weeks - they were my worst in terms of sickness etc...but it does help make it seem more real.
Has anyone seen or heard from Diva n Dan?
Wishing everyone a great last day and relaxing weekend. I can't wait to hear from Mako. ohhh, so excited for them.
:hello:

Hi all,
Monnie - I totally agree with you, Felix is so cute!
Ltl Panda & Kotare - re leg cramps.
I suffered quite a lot with these especially during the second trimester, unfortunately there is not a lot you can do about them.
My dr did say that sometimes the physio's can help.
The good thing is that they do ease off & I haven't had any for about 6 weeks now (touch wood because yes they really do hurt).
I found if Dh rubbed legs later on that evening (not straight away) as much as it would hurt by morning it would be so much better.
Saw dr today & bubs is still very low down in pelvis, maybe a little bigger than average but otherwise everything good.
I mentioned that I had been feeling quite sick this week & he said that the nausea can come back late in your pg, sorry if that just put a few of you girls off.
Last night I was in the worst mood I have been in for ages & then I had no sleep, I think my hormones must be going absolutely crazy atm.
I also picked up my tens machine today so I shall let you girls no after the birth how it went.

Quick questions girls. Can we eat philly cheese? DH has made a cheese ball for a BBQ tonight and I am dying to eat some because it is so yummy. Please say yes lol.
I will be back later to do personals.
-
OMG Jo, only 27 days to go for you! How exciting.

busy busy busy in here... let's see who i forget ;)
Congrats on getting to the 2nd trimester Lismith (or nearly, right...?). It is much much better of this side of 12 weeks.
Sonya ktgirl and zap - hope you're all doing well. The time will fly, you'll see... really...
so funny that your baby was kicking the others Sazz. the moving t-shirt must have been pretty funny to see. I can see little spasms in my tummy now sometimes, but only if i'm looking right at it at the right time... DH got a little show when i was in the bath the other night
congrats on finding out your having a boy Kotare! I've finally convinced DH to find out the sex at our scan next week - but we will also (try to) keep it to ourselves.
Glad you're feeling better Kimbe - hope the storm wasn't too bad.
Jo - this could be a sign...
Monnie - Felix is so lovely! Glad you guys are doing well and that DH has found a place in there too. Must be hard for fathers at first, not having breasts and all
DH likes to talk to my belly too! Don't think Jelly can hear anything yet, but never mind. And he asks how she is (we use female pronouns... another good reason to find out the sex) and whether she's awake. I hope mine doesn't stick to her sleep/wake patterns cause she's generally kicking and bumping around through the wee hours of the night. I can see me getting no sleep later on if this keeps up.
I'm pretty sure philly is fine to eat
And sneaky hi to the "lurker" Kotare mentioned - it's always so exciting to have someone new join!
Hope you are all doing well!

morning ladies,
Feel like crap! had accupunture on Friday and she sent me home with needles ( small ones) and I do feel a little better but not 100%. Going for my 6wk scan tomorrow and feeling very nervous. Going to ask the doc if he will treat me in a public hospital. I am happy to pay him (no private cover) but have no real clue how much i am up for. Will it be more for twins? How much will a csection cost if nessecary?
All will be revealed.
Big hello to everyone.
Racheal

have my final IVF scan tomorrow. i will just over 9 weeks. really scared but i guess its normal to be. i have had a LOT of cramp type pain, but i guess its probably my uterus stretching. well i hope it is...
-
HI everyone sorry its going to be a quickie. as im on my way out, but i'll b back
Goodluck Sonya and Zap with your scans today
And has anyone heard from Mako??
Its stinking hot up here in nth qld at the moment, which isnt making me feel the best....but everything is pretty good.....im just exhausted and I still have to put a full day in at work, damn the real world for interfering with my sleep time lol. :D
Off to work I go...Happy Monday everyone xx
-
Morning ladies. How was your weekend?
Sonya and Racheal good luck with your scans today. I can't wait to hear all about them. What time will you be back?
I feel like rubbish this morning. Had my first spew today :ms: It is kind of good though. Makes me really think that I am pregnant because I still can't believe it and that hopefully bub is doing well.
Anyway I have to start work so I will be back in later.
-
Zap & Sonya1 - good luck with your scans today!!!
Sonya1 - I had a lot of cramp pains throughout my pg too & obviously it was just the uterus stretching.
So I am still here waiting patiently, Saturday I had a little leakage & thought it might be waters breaking but have nothing since so it mustn't have been, then last night I was getting little tummy pains & felt like I was going to get my period but that has gone now as well.
My b/h contractions are much more frequent & last longer now so I'm sure she's not too far away although I have been having funny symptoms for a few weeks now so who knows???
Hope everyone had a nice weekend, we finally got most of our front garden done after nearly a year of being in our house (not that I did a lot though).

omigod omigod omigod Jo... almost there! Could the leakage be show? I just read that sometimes it's watery and mistaken for waters breaking (don't ask why I was reading that, sometimes i just open the book at a random page and read).
Good luck with your scans today Zap and Sonya
I had lots of cramping at times too Sonya, so I'm sure it's normal.
Aww, poor ktgirl - that sucks. But, as you say, it is a good sign.
Cost-wise Rachael I have no idea as we're covered by insurance, but it'd be several grand I guess. Some private docs also do public patients - not yours? Wait, are you having twins!?... ah, rereading posts I see you 'might' be... how exciting.
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and is doing well. Wonder how Mako and her family are doing...
