Seriously, you are doing fantastically - I recover very slowly from anything that involves inflammation, and so it seems to me that you're doing better now than I did on my non-transfer cycles. Hope it keeps up for you!

Shannon - I hope everything runs smoothly between now and the 13th (?) of Nov. How did the check up go?
Mon - I'm feeling you on the restless nights thing. I have nightmares about having the pest control guy come to out house and find like 10 snakes under the house and then for whatever reason we (DH&I) manage to let the snakes escape and then I end up being bitten by snakes and it makes me lose the baby. I was crying in my sleep this morning around 4.30am -freaked DH right out - freaked myself out when he woke me up. Anyway, I'm sure it's just our sub conscious way to get these feelings out.
Nicole - You will be blown away by the 10 weeks scan. Mine was completely unexpected at my first Ob appointment (it actually looks human instead of like it did at 6 weeks - kinda like a squid)
Possums - Hello sweets. How are you travelling these days? I hope things are getting easier for you - I know it will never completely go away. Big hugs and kisses to you.
Janie - How are you? Are you going to find out the sex at your next scan? When are you booked in?
Scooby - What's SPD? I wish I could keep it a secret til I was 6.5 months along. Everyone we know knows. I?m getting bored of the same questions over and over.
Megan - The fluttery thing is what my BFF told me it felt like early on. Like the sensation of someone lightly running their fingers down your arm (but inside).
BW - How are you?
TL - Are you going to find out the sex? We're trying to decide (I know it?s a bit early, but we are so terrible at making decisions it takes us ages)
Bel - Great news about the OHSS being on the mend. How long now til your 6 week scan? You must be busting to see that little HB or HB's.
AFM - We had out NT scan yesterday. Little bub is looking good - two arms with hands, two legs with feet, a stomach, a brain, a nasal cavity, heartbeat etc. It was so surreal. It seems that the more that goes right the more scared I get. Like I never really expected that it would be ok and when we get the results that say it is it freaks me out a little more. I think I need some acupuncture - thankfully I have an appointment Saturday week. I'm also starting Yoga in a couple of weeks which I hope will help release some stress.
Anyway - Hope you all have a great day. Not sure I'll make the whole day at work - have been awake since 430 this morning. *sigh*
Hey Nic- Glad the scan all went well. You and I had similar mornings it sounds like. I was up at 3am...WHAT IS THAT ABOUT???!!! My 1st scan in on Mon..will be just over 5 weeks, but FS wants to check that my baby/ies are in the right place to snuggle in as I've had a previous ectopic. I know I probably won't see a heartbeat, but just need to be reassured all is well.

Feeling really good, other than tired in the arvo....No M/S but starting to feel a bit sick at night...
Had the best dream last night that we had a baby girl who looked so much like DH the dream felt so real that I didn't want to wake up.
Anyway sorry to keep it short came into work early today so betta get to it.
I know. Maybe it's part of the reason we're so tired all the time - on top of the hormones - just not sleeping properly.
Anyway babe - got to get back to work. Have a good one. Can't wait to hear about the scan.....it will be a long drawn out weekend for you :-)

afm- just taking it a day at a time. pretty low, but getting there bit by bit...and starting to daydream about when I might be here again....so at least I have found a little bit of hope again

BG, how are you going? Hope the m/s isn't causing you too much grief still.
AFM, I had 16wk midwife appt today. Everything is going as it should. Fundal height is measuring 17cm, and we heard the heartbeat. :) My BP is a bit on the high side, but I think work has contributed to that lately, and that wont be a problem in a few weeks!. I need to keep an eye on it though. She is sending me for a full GTT now because there is a history of diabetes in my family. I think I'll be doing that Monday. My offical NT scan results came back and the downs risk is 1:3040 so all good. It was noted though that the placenta is low. Hopefully by next scan it will be looking ok. She didn't seem too concerned at this stage, but did say that if it's still low at the next scan I will have to have some more scans for them to monitor it.
thanks for asking after me Megan - am kinda just cruising along at the moment. Nausea is pretty much 24/7 unless i have a REALLY good night sleep - even then, it bugs me later in the day. it's not fun at all. to leave the house i have no choice but to take maxalon - and a bucket. ah well, the things we do
i had the most amazing experience last night - i know it's super early, and i am sure people with think i'm made - but OMG - i felt the Gremlin move!!! it was a very specific sensation and it lasted for a good minute, then for about a half minute later in the night, and about 15 seconds maybe a little more, this morning. was so surreal. i know i'm not supposed to feel it so early, but i did! i'm really sensitive to everything down there though - i felt physical pain that doubled me over every time an embie implanted, so i believe 100% that what i felt was our little gremlin moving. i think it was telling me it was ok - i had a really bad emotional night after having minimal nausea for most of the day, and odd pains the day before... think the Gremlin was just telling mummy to relax and enjoy her pregnancy - everything else is inconsequential at this point!

Nicole S- I just love dreams like that. I totally get the not wanting to wake up feeling. This as happened to me so many time on our TTC journey. The countdown to next Fri is on!
Nixon- Yet another early morning for me. I wake up and start thinking about everything then just can't get back to sleep...most annoying!!

AFM...lots going on at the moment. DH and I have moved out of our apartment...a 3 story walk up. Well we've kind of moved out!! All our stuff is still there, but we are living with his parents now for a while and have to go back to pack up the apartment when I am 100% again after this OHSS. We are going to move into a house in probably 4 months to make it easier for when our little baby/ies come and to save some money for a few months after all these bills....So I am living with DH's parents when DH is home, and when he goes away, I stay with my parents and sis. So am basically being looked after by everyone and having a break from running a house...quite nice may I say!! Is hard though not having your own space and stuff, but a small sacrifice in the scheme of things. Am blessed to have family who are more than happy to help.
Pg wise...very sore BB's but that's it so far. If I'm going to get sick when will that start? I've no idea really as with both previous pregnancies I was never sick...I might be lucky!!
I just want to enjoy this pregnancy so much. Already I am sick of the scared feeling of loss again. I talk to the little one/s all the time and tell them we love them already and to stay with us. I pray they do so much. I do feel this time is different though. As crazy as that may sound, I just feel this is it.
Sorry for the long post...lots on my mind at this hour when I still should be sleeping.

Hi Bel,
I'm glad you are feeling positive.
I think I have finally realised that on the surface I worry things will go worng, but deep down I know everything is going to turn out fine. My conscious mind keeps telling me all the possible neagtive outcomes and then my heart and my gut pop in every now and then and simply say - you will have the baby and it will be healthy and you will be fine. And that's that.
I think the semi-detachment is due to the IVF and everything being so clinical, but it is getting better each day. We will find out the sex (hopefully she'll let us see - I think it is a girl and always have even before the blastie transfer.) and I think that will help a lot with the detachment I feel at the moment. It just doesn;t seem real - even with the belly and the U/S and the heartbeat.
Anyway - that's my blah-di-blah for the morning.
PS: Bel - I was in bed at 830 last night and slept like a log - no dreams last night - YAY!!!!

Nix - know what you mean. Feel like this week after my anxiety attack that am starting to dig deep and tap into intuition and feel like everything will be fine. I guess the anxiety is going to be part of the journey, so just need to nip it in the bud as it arises!
Bel - keeping talking to your little one. I know that feeling of fear as well. My massage therapist gave me a crystal angel - which is so sweet. I have it near my bed side and am placing my faith in bubs angels to look after he/she.
BG -How cool about the Gremlin moving!!!!

AFM; all OK. Woke up the other morning and threw up (sorry if TMI) but there was nothing in my stomach.Been pretty queasy and it seems to be one day ok and one day not so ok. thankfully ok today. bbs still really sensitive. had a nap today which was glorious. Anxiety not so bad but am hoping i keep on top of it especially given have now 5 days to go until my first scan! Yipee! I cant wait but of course am nervous! :pray: all goes well.
Anyway must run have a good weekend all!

Mon Love Ya back 5 days tills scan yay
Well we are 18 weeks tommorrow and the combination between the heat and Pg my wedding rings donot fit So off bubs and I went to the shops to pick a ring that matches the peridot and diamond bracelet DH gave me for my 30th.
Well as I was paying I felt this flutter of bubbles just where my hand was resting on my tummy and I think that was it the first movementI
Then not 5 mins later I ran into my FS we had a great chat he said I look really well and when I told him what I felt he thinks that was it too bubs for being so clever.
I am a little suprised due to where the palcenta was at 12 weeks but FS said it may have moved by now. Was so happy to run into him and he said I have a nice healthy bump forming.
Well we are 2 weeks and 2 sleeps away from the 20 week scan and after a big week at work nap weekend is going to be theme for this weekend
Hi Everyone -
I am joining this thread for the first time.
A little bit about me, DH and I have been LTTTC and started IVF in July this year, our first transfer was unsuccessful but we were overjoyed to get a BFP on Tuesday from our first FET.
It was a natural FET so I have been drug free the whole time and am currently still not taking / on anything - I'm not sure that I wouldn't feel better to be on something for support by my FS says it's not needed.
I've had some quesiness and sore BB but other than that, I am feeling great and scared at the same time. We worried so much about getting pg that I haven't really thought about what to do if we did get pg! Going to buy some books tomorrow to learn about what is going on and what to expect.
Our first scan is on Nov 14 so another TWW - the waiting , praying and worrying never seems to end.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and sharing the joys of this wonderful journey with you all.
